.56% Crit definitely works, TRIED & TESTED. Not sure if it's actually 1 in 100 or 1 in ~200 though, but like I said before I'm leaning towards 1 in 100.

I'd say you were thorough enough XD They did smooth crit out so it isn't purely random but it's still trying to imitate the random system. The descrepancy probably comes from that switch in which case it's possible that .56% crit would never crit either. How much crit do you run on gangplank to get those random crits? I'd question the stats recap screen before anything else (were you afking under tower with your champ AAing incoming creeps or actively playing - might have missed crit visuals?). On the other hand, if RIOT's pseudo-random number generator is anything like the DoTA one, 10k would make you crit a number of times very close to the "expected" 28.

And what evidence do you have to support this claim, good sir? My claim is backed by SCIENCE. If the system rounds down (.28% to 0.0%), why would it not round up? TOMFOOLERY, I SAY.

Only reason I invested in them is I've seen Cop and Chaox and I think Doublelift play with them.

I read that your first shot starts below your crit % and then goes up until you crit, then it resets. It's possible that with too low a % it never climbs to where it doesn't get rounded down to 0.

So the only other options are we were told a blanket mostly truth or the Rioter was misinformed.

Riot said so in the context of fractional points of AD, crit was not brought up in that conversation. Chrispy even acknowledged this. Supports, mages that auto attack, tanks that deal phsyical and magic. Also after hours of insanely boring tests I have come to the conclusion that Riot does not keep track of your internal crit chance. I used one .28% crit chance glyph and played like 10 custom matches and auto attacked mindlessly (in total of all my matches I'd say I auto attacked AT LEAST 10,000 times) and checked the stats recap afterwards and each time I deal zero critical damage after every one of my matches. So if it doesn't record .28% I would say that it also doesn't record .56% and instead just rounds it up to 1%. Why does it do this? IDK. Bug maybe, but if so its been bugged for a long ass time. It does keeps track of the decimal points in other stats, like AD for example so I have no explanation for why Riot would not take into consideration crit chance too, but da stats dont lie doe. I tried to make a macro to test this out even further but I am not a wizard. But still I'm confident in my LoL SCIENCE and I will give one cookie to anybody who can get a crit with either one crit glyph or one crit seal.

Only reason I invested in them is I've seen Cop and Chaox and I think Doublelift play with them. I've been running them since the start of Season 3. You trade a little bit of damage early for more lane sustain and the ability to delay life steal. They're incredibly good if you want to IE rush on whatever AD you're playing and even if you go BT rush I feel like they're better over all since life steal became a much harder to get stat (as well as being more expensive). On March 21 2013 21:58 Chrispy wrote: I think every NA AD runs lifesteal quints these days. Lifesteal quints + Dblade = Lots of sustain. For real? I remember like day one of S3 advocating them and no one listened to me. The only reason I can think of to go AD quints is if you're really looking to get early game kills but most competitive games have lane swaps and frankly if you're looking to really pressure your opponent in the early game armpen quints are probably better for that. So yeah, life steal quints all the way unless Riot makes life steal cheaper/easier to get.

It's not solid but .56% crit chance has a 20% probability of producing that result while 1% crit chance has a 5% probability of producing that result. It's likely that it doesn't round up but my test is way too small to be proof. I admire your patience.
