I can agree with this but it's much harder to go from Silver 1 to Gold 5 than it is to go from SIlver 5 all the way to Silver 1, which honestly doesn't make sense to me. I'm at the point I have to win 3-4 games to make up points for losing 1. I'll go from 94 to 76 to 80 then to 86 back down to 68. Then get a streak of 5-6 games and be back at 80-90 points. It's frustrating and demoralizing but I guess I'll get there eventually.
The same happened to me, and this is how it went in terms of points.
+6+2+2+2+1-15 BOOM +20 into promotions I lost the promotion and the points were as follows +20 -10+20 Boom promotion again. Not to say I failed the promotion again which sucks, but that made me feel thta somehow the hiddne MMR adjusting you to where it feels you should be kinda works.

Just played with at least 4 quinns... All garbage. They may be so preoccupied with learning her that they lose all sense of map awareness. That and having horrible cs.

anyone else hate the new pings?
i liked the old system. One ping was "look here" and one was "ATTENTION, DANGER". the audio even represented the severeness.
Now there are like 6 different pings that sound all the same to me and i get confused

I had the same experience. I got to 85ish points and gained five or less points from 85-100. This happened three or four times for me. After this point of winning a high percentage of games I eventually gained 17 points for a promotion series. It seems to be working as intended. In my example I clearly was not as high as the promotion standard. A high win percentage later...easy.

I was in the same situation in Silver I, gaining 6 4 2 points for each win. Then suddenly I lost one, goes back to something like 76, win one, and hop I'm at 100 points. Lost my promotion matches, won three, back to 100 points. Just play, if you win more then you lose, you will end up in promotion matches even if the league points plays with you.

agree. i get so confused by the sounds.
2 pings were enough. No need to make it more confusing.

I was always incapable of remembering the hotkey for the "look here" ping so I've been using just the ATTENTION ping for a long time... yet I've never really had a miscommunication incident with it even when pinging for "push here/take this objective".
In one sense the new pings are better because. well, we can do more instead of less. But there's still a learning curve and I don't know what all these different noises and symbols MEAN yet.

They don't sound the same. I like the pings. They're super fast to use and the "on my way" ping and the "enemy missing" ping are really useful, at least for me as normally I'd type those things. Also, now I can use the normal "danger" ping for unsure situations and the red danger ping for sure situations. The icons lingering on the minimap are also useful and if you had multiple people pinging at once, before it was difficult to figure out what they mean.
For example, if you're getting chased and someone pings you you have no clue what they mean, but if they ping "on my way" you know they're coming there and you'll know from where.

In all the games I've seen her in I feel like she does no damage and the whole kit minus Vault seems really lackluster.. Haven't bought her yet, waiting on free week to try her out. Only played a few games yesterday, between for some reason staying up for EU LCS(which started around 4:30am for me) and then napping before NA LCS, it really put a crunch on my time.
1st game: The Quinn on my team was fucking awful. I wasn't mid so I didn't have the chance to watch her, but my friend was supporting and he said her situational play was horrible. 25 min game, 1/5/1.
2nd game: I supported for this one. Was paired up against a graves which she was all too willing to try and Vault into...taking a full power Buckshot to the face. Farmed decently enough and was at least relevant into late game because of Blood Boil. Our Darius got megafed so...*shrugs* 36 min game, 4/9/6.
3rd game: Played Graves against one. Absolutely crushed her in lane, team fed Hecarim and top Taric is annoying as hell. 27min game, 12/6/15.
Biggest issue I see, which is to be expected, is people not knowing the matchups.

I have been Jungling quinn. Its hilarious how much slow is on her rank 1 e. Its a gareenteed kill if you can put yourself between the gankee and their turret. I've been maxing q, low cd pretty good aoe on it. I just wish the blind portion wasnt a skill shot.

1) Grab a quick chalice and then stack MR/health and CDR with some magic pen. 2) Lose anyway.

What's that website that lets you math out DPS calculations for different ADC's with different item builds?
I know one exists but I can't find the URL.
