What do you guys think would be an interesting concept for a champ to be added into League?
-I think it would be cool to have a champ with no damage skills, just utility ones. Speed boosts, CC, armor/mr buff, an AOE that provides Tenacity, stuff like that. -Maybe one that could open two portals and have allies walk into one and out the other would have amazing potential (and prob be OP unless it could be destroyed somehow - thinking something like a Nymph ulti from HoN). -A hero that required a lot of pet micromanagement would be pretty fun.

Pets would be very fun, as to the support, its antithetical to Riot's design, unless they utility had some kind of scaling.

I used up all my refunds, but now I just am very careful with what I spend my RP on. Most recently bought the Neon Strike Vi package which was good, then got drunk and bought heartseeker Vayne.
No regrets.

I feel like Riot would shy away from any sort of concept that requires a lot of micromanaging, so a full on pet champ seems unlikely...closest thing we will probably ever have to this is Malz's voidling lol.
As for a champ with no damage skill, I don't see that really being feasible. The idea of a champ that can do anything in a 1v1 situation sounds pretty anti-fun.

No regrets. That's how my friend ended up with pink Taric, also no regrets.

not sure if it makes a difference, but the two times i contacted support regarding similar issues in EUW were dealt with promptly and pretty friendly by them in sept/december 2012.

The problem with pets is that you can't really have proper pet control in this interface. You won't get the sick blocks or cool moves you get in other games so it will just be lackluster always.

I'm not saying they weren't prompt and friendly. Just a bit sad couldn't work out anything

I always thought it'd be neat to have a champion whose autos did pure magic damage (and scaled with AP/MPen) and all of their abilities were AD scaling, so you could make him an AD bursty caster (without giving significant auto damage) or a heavy sustained Magic dealer.
Of course, Riot doesn't like dual-spec champions like that anymore.

When I did some work for Riot in the QA department, I was told to almost always give refunds. There were certain circumstances when we didn't, a Korean had developed a system by which to scam us and soon after we got a TON of tickets all worded exactly alike, improper English and all, and we had to close up shop for them for awhile.
Riot may have changed their policy after they were acquired by the new corporate company though, but I don't remember ever being told about "3 refunds and that's it." I remember that when we had a person get to like, the 6th or 7th refund point, we'd tell them to do fun things like, draw us a picture of a Champion or sing us a song on youtube to get a refund. Some people would go a tad crazy though. We had a few nudes sent to us. Male and female. Yeah....... Good times.

Anyone here thinks CLG new bot lane with DL and Aphro is bad? DL used to be the one the follow the support, but now hes the one to make the call and if he pull his DL too often, they just gonna get destroyed.,

I find using Champs that have mechanics to get away from bruisers/assassins are essentional since you can't always rely on teammates to peel properly for you. Corki and Ezreal do a great job at that. Graves, Cait, and Vayne also to an extent.
Also, depending on which support you get, is when I'd decide on an AD unless you can communicate properly with whomever wants to support. Cait/Alistar are a good combo because he can knockup, you trap, then after trap he knocks back. Graves/Sona is a good burst combo imho. Communication is key, which can be difficult in solo Q. Try to find a friend or two that can duo with you if you really want to stick to just AD, this way both of you can work better in setting up your bottom lane.
If you do stick as a solo as AD. Just be passive imho. Farm. Don't take risks unless you know for sure you can get a kill WITHOUT supports help. You just can't rely on people until the game progresses and you can determine their skill level. If you get a great, knowledgeable support that will back you up. Take more risks. If not, then farm as best you can and ask Jungler to help out when needed to reclaim the lane.

I think it'd be neat to have an AD Carry with a pet who was designed to solo lane 1v2. Not sure how you'd do it but I like meta breaking things like that.
Or a jungler who ganks by supporting the other laner, with mostly buffs and such.
A champ who could destroy jungle trees or maybe have like a portal ability that could let other champs walk through walls would be real interesting.

anything that is not Chausterlift is a downgrade, doesn't mean they are a weak botlane, probably one of the strongest compared to the NA/EU scene. Clg has bigger problems @top/mid and shouldn't worry too much about bot, agree that Locolift was pretty bad though.

He's an entirely new player and he would like the most bang for his buck in term of champions. Be a little apologetic and polite and hopefully your friend gets the full $20 RP refund and he can use it for a collection's edition champ pack. Ok, I sent them a support ticket, hopefully they help him out this time. It would be kind of odd if they don't, since I have always heard good stories from others.

I dunno. If you have a syllabear-style thing going (only 1 pet, always active) you can use the alt-control method that shaco clone/tibbers/etc use. Put it on the Q. You can give the champ a glitterlance style skillshot to encourage good pet positioning.
Not convinced it should be an AD carry, but I think it could work.
Could be someone who starts with 1 point in R and levels it up to 4, the R being the pet.

That being said - Poppy can actually 1v3 in a 6 item scenario if you are smart with your ult, but you have to be extremely lucky to take on more than 3 people with her.
Release Xin could 1v5 though. If we are including release champs, add Irelia and J4 to that list. No one played release Irelia until like 2-3 months afterwards, and release Jarvan lol. Fuck that guy. I have nightmares of that guy just sitting in a lane, building 3 HoG, 2 Philo and still doing tons of damage. Then he goes home and buys straight TF. My god that sounds terrifying ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/ciyo2.png) i laughed so much at this. Long live TL
