I think it's really dumb that the Heal summoner grants assists but the Barrier summoner doesn't. That's my thought of the day.

Because being hit doesn't grant an assist, so it doesn't matter if you pop Barrier or not if you don't hit them.

Which is dumb, I agree. Last game of the night, I flashed in as Skarner, pulled their AD, ate a couple ults, and only survived with ~150 health, allowing my team to go in and 0-5 Ace them. Only 2 assists out of the whole thing.

If you use Heal or Soraka's Wish and it doesn't even heal any HP, you get an assist.

Anivia's egg form gives an assist.

Damage shields don't give assists unless you shield somebody ELSE. If you only shield yourself you don't get an assist.

Also wtf is your elo higher than mine now? Jerk.

When It comes to 1v5 - we have to define if the opponants play it smart or not. If not - Nasus is the best 1v5 champ there is, with Trynd being a close second. If they do play it smart, Jax is probably the best, although noone can truely 1v5 a smart team unless the level and gold advantage is massive.

That being said - Poppy can actually 1v3 in a 6 item scenario if you are smart with your ult, but you have to be extremely lucky to take on more than 3 people with her.

Release Xin could 1v5 though.

Riven is bad against tanky bruiseres? WAT. Just build cdr, her shield is the same CD as udyr except it shields like 2x as much at higher AD +she can life steal.

I once 2v5'd with a janna mid (without that much ad tho) as jungle riven in some inhouse

also 4 "meatshields" and 1 "1v5" is called "AD carry"

I was talking the 1v5 scenario. I've literally 1v3ed with Riven vs a Cait/Soraka/Brand, but you can't do the same if it's like Cho/Udyr/Taric. Wasn't talking about regular lategame stuff, where she's dumb as fuck.

Ya the assist mechanic probably drops you some assists that you deserve (basically zoning/tanking damage) but at least the current system is consistent and make sense for the most part

Keep in mind that if more than one person assists, the assist gold gets divided evenly among the assisters so your team doesn't get any additional benefit if 4 people assist a kill compared to 1 assist

Also idk if it was always there or they recently introduced this bug, but if an anivia chats while egged it shows up as
