How do I get past these losses? Some examples games where I go 17/4 as corki and lose, or 3/3/30 janna with an oracles right after my second gp5 and go 1/0/5 in lane and then only die in team fights we lose. Has anyone else had this stuff happen to them? And how do you get past these sorts of hurdles. I already read smash's blog about making the right calls and just getting bad luck but I really don't feel like it's MY loss if that makes sense. Of course I'm not playing my champion 100% and I still make a lot of mistakes and I work on them while I play. It's just hard HAVING to play vs bots to get my win of the day especially when I have games where we wreck bot and then lose because team makes terrible calls and doesn't listen.

This stuff is actually a bit exciting. I can't wait to see what comes out of this. I'm also starting to get more and more tempted by the $100 bundle, which is probably terrible because I only just hit 1200 Elo.

Anyway, that's my guess as to the thought process behind the whole idea, but I'm glad the teams stood up and said no. While it may make business/marketing sense to enact a rule like that it would have been a pretty nasty stunt to pull on the gaming teams would have (rightly!) earned them a lot of bad will from the community.

The past 2 days I've played about 30 games and won probably 5, I support, ADC, and Jungle based off what my team needs and generally do fairly well. I'm not saying I should've won all 30 of the games but 5/25 is not the best win loss record. My most recent game I played a Support Naut and we wrecked our lane [duo que] but they had a jungle yi and the rest of my team was too focused on stopping him from back dooring instead of winning a 5v4 team fight and taking towers quicker than him. [if need be I could've backed and stopped him at any point.] How do I get past these losses? Dude, that's just how it is sometimes. I tanked over 300 ELO at one point and then gained it all back during a win streak. What I've found the best thing to do is if you're on a losing streak (streak meant to be 2-3+ losses), take a break, be done for the day. Either the groups you're being matched up with aren't the best (kids getting off from school, etc), or you're on tilt. Come back the next day, play a couple, and see how it goes. If you play on a losing streak, even if they don't seem to be your fault, I feel like you have a higher chance of continuing to lose.

In this specific case they will have discussed how to best market their new league and how to deal with the teams/players that they will contract. If these discussion would be public, than the employees would need to censor themselves, because whatever they say might be taken out of context and bad ideas could reflect on the company. Therefore companies keep these things as well as the discussions private so that their employees can say whatever they want. It is relevant because you concluded from the fact that they didn't respond, that they planned something. I was offering an explanation of why it is good policy to not comment on these internal processes in general and only comment on what you actually plan or not plan to do. b) At this point no organization with a lol and a dota team has come forward and claimed that Riot asked them to drop their team. Furthermore if you actually listen to Sir Scoots on lo3, you will find out, that he doesn't claim that he talked to Riot. He just says, that other team owners talked to Riot and that it was kind of an unofficial rule, which became "public" knowledge and that the teams which were actually affected discussed with Riot to not officially go through with it. He doesn't mention who told him, he just goes like: "Hey I'm Sir Scoots and I know, so trust me on that." And to be very clear, he says that he is happy the rule is not put into place because it might have affected them in the future. He doesn't say that there were plans to pick up a lol team for S3. Also I made this point to generally underline why a company needs to be careful on how they react to rumors. The source is of course important and if someone comes forward that actually works with or for Riot, they would need to respond, but that is not the case here so far. So again them not reacting is not necessarily an admittance of guilt. But no matter how false the rumor and how unreliable the source, at some point they will react. At this point the marketing team is probably monitoring the discussion and they are evaluating when they have start to do damage control. For all you know, I might be part of that damage control with the way that I'm arguing ![]()

Breakdown of how I feel with each currently, spoilered for length: + Show Spoiler + I was thinking Kennen since I like more mobile champs, but I seriously can't figure out how to play the guy. You have good range on Q and autos, but his ult and E need melee and you're squishy, and W isn't super long range either. His burst also feels kind of low, but high teamfight utility if you survive long enough to ult things. Brand is probably my "best" right now, in that he's very straighforward and has the only goal of hitting as many things as possible with fire. He feels like he falls off pretty hard, though, unless you're really ahead. I'm decent at Lux and she's fun, but I feel like if you don't get ahead and/or win lane, she's really underwhelming. Good ganking/gank assists, though. I've only played Galio a couple times. I like his burst and pushing power in lane, but outside of ult I feel like he's kind of useless later on. His damage isn't super high and you're building more tanky anyway, and his utility is ok but not great. Maybe I just need more experience on him.

Brand has a ton of frontloaded burst and you can usually 1v2 their mid/jungler if they are both <3/4 HP and you are post 6. Lux just farms from miles away until you have 40% CDR and Deathcap in which case you roam and oneshot bot lane.

Lux kind of makes up for it with CC, I suppose. I'm starting to realize there are very few mages with both high burst and mobility. Outside of melee assassins like Akali and Kass (which I refuse to play because I'm horrid at it), there's, what, LeBlanc and Ahri?

as for the whole exclusivity i can see why riot wants it but i also think it's a dumb idea. there's room in the market for both games. and of course dota people love to stroke their egos with how much harder their game is but honestly both sides should be able to coexist without fighting. there should be no reason you can't have dota and lol at the same event. both games play differently even if they are the same genre. no reason that you can't like street fighter and king of fighters or guilty gear, and hey, there's one big tournament called evo where they play all of them. riot shouldn't be trying to fight valve and dota but collaborating with them to mutually grow their games.

Sion runs fast and is pretty bursty, but also only has 2 AP scaling skills and high cooldowns.

Base MS doesn't really come into mobility discussions, I think. 6 comes so fast in mid, and I generally play really safe until then anyway.

CLG has it's main foothold in LoL(although their dota team is good),M5's dota team is mediocre from what I understand.Signing a exclusivity contract wouldn't be too hard on them tbh. The reason the other teams came out with it is because they don't feel like getting strong armed by a game company in one direction. We still don't know which Moba will be the most successful in the long run and teams want to have their options when deciding which moba game to pick up and when. they might not be top teir dota teams, but they probably still make a profit (ergo they still exist). riot would be actively saying "drop your team/profit" if this rule stayed in place. like some people here have said, I want to hear opinions from people who actually had consequences because of this rule, not from sirscoots.
