His damage is the same, but the CD nerfs and Body slam speed nerf are annoying.
You are joking. He is so fucking broken it's not even funny.

Team Dignitas fined their team for the cost of Raleigh trip plus unspecified amount on top of that. Won't admit to collusion beyond ARAM.
It's posted on their official site.

At least Dig didn't get dropped. Good to know that there very likely wasn't any collusion outside of the ARAM. I wonder if MLG will apologize for spreading the prize pool splitting allegations or if Riot will for spreading match fixing allegations.
|
Not admitting / being "unable to find proof" as a biased party is hardly evidence of innocence. It's a pretty big fine for just an ARAM, pointing to the likelihood that there is more being covered up.
I'm still in favor of a full ban from S2 finals for both teams.

I find it unlikely that Odee would cover this up. No way he loves his LoL team enough to risk his entire organizations integrity by covering up their crimes. But to each his own.

It'd be hard to accurately tell what he'd do in this situation without actually being there and personally knowing him. It's all just speculation until all parties come forth with information.

I can agree with a slight nerf to its range, but 1000->600 was retarded. 800 or 750 or something would be fine. Make it work the average short range ability, but not as well on long-ranged ones. Would love some help getting this noticed. at 750 or 800 range it's still a ap caster item. It was never meant to be. Get over it. Start buying athenes if you want mr. It was meant for ap bruisers like amumu and malphite. I don't even PLAY AP mids. I'm not screaming "QQ they're nerfing me" I'm screaming "holy shit thats a HUGE NERF OUT OF NOWHERE WHICH IMPACTS EVERYBODY BY A LARGE FACTOR." Pretty much people crying over nothing, usual in the league community though. The item wasnt meant to be bought for ap mid anyway The range nerf crushes the items usefulness for everyone, not just AP mid. A lot of the heroes they WANT to buy the item are ones that will be positioned in such a way to peel bruisers off their AD carry (Naut, Maokai, etc.). As such, the cut from 1000 to 600 range means that from such a conservative position, the aura goes from affecting maybe 3-4 heroes to just 1-2.

^This. I seriously doubt Odee would compromise his (and his organization's) image forever by pulling something like that.

This is what I expected. "collusion for ARAM only".

It leaves the door wide open so if shit blows back later on he can say "we investigated and fined them, we're very disappointed, etc." and try to wash his hands of the situation.
It's a pretty common tactic.

I think the so-called collusion was that Curse and Dig were eating lunch together. Some people at MLG saw that and called it "collusion to split the pot".
|
SirScoots himself said that he and Slasher basically just assumed they agreed to split the pot since they agreed to ARAM. There hasn't been a single one of the "witnesses" who heard this go down speak up during any of this. Both Riot and MLG offered conflicting stories.
I dunno why people are so set to crucify these teams when it's starting to seem like a lot of these allegations, originally spread by people who don't like professional LoL, are false.
edit: I don't wanna germ up this thread anymore than I may have already. I personally think that all parties involved acted unprofessionally and as MoonBear's clone said it'll be nice to have this behind us and focus on PAX.
|
At the end of the day, these two teams are immature boys/young men who did something incredibly stupid and I think they realise just how stupid they were at that time. I hope they learnt from this fallout. That being said however, I don't think we need a constant mess as PAX Prime looms so close to us. The harm that was done is not irreparable. Best to take what lessons we can from this and move on.
TL PAX Preview is out btw! :3

Chiharu, I'm still waiting for Twitch FOM.
I still love him, but you gotta remember: His harass is an auto attack and then.... another auto attack every 5 seconds or it's wasted. The mana change was definately to encourage W+E or auto attack + E harass, which still puts him behind a Graves/EZ/Ashe/MF/Trist...(You get the idea) harass, but improvements are nice, and his harassment is undodgable. I still see 2 more buffs incomming before he's no longer playing Hearts with Karma, Heimer and Sejuani.
Again, hope I'm wrong. Been waiting a year to see Twitch get played as a serious contender.

Most likely, you're going to have to wait until Season 3 before we see teams test the waters again with new champions. There's a reason why ADs have bogged down to Corkis and Ezreals, lol.
There's are plenty of "hidden" OPs atm. My votes go for Twitch, Kat, and Jayce.

lol, you know what, I'll give it to Viktor too. When you can clear creep waves as well as or better than Anivia, you're doing something right.

Abyssal nerf asinine as fuck.
Most of the nerfs are good.
Jarman change is good, but still need to fix hook grab fizzling when cast too fast.
Abyssal was most broken item in the game. I think kat is gonna be #1 op now, her change was already a buff which is pretty evident when any1 moves beyond theorycraft and tries it, also by the fact that she went from <45% --> about 50% win rate. With these buffs, she might dominate.

The more I played Twitch, the more I feel like he suffers from Caitlyn syndrome- if you fall behind, there's not much you can do. And unlike Caitlyn, his range is pretty meh without his ult. I think he's strong, but that sort of weakness means people will shy away from him anyways.
