Now, I know it isn't what it says, but I tired read this as Trinity Vayne. Makes me question, has Trinity Vayne ever been a thing? lvl5 Tumble matches up perfectly with the Sheen proc. Is the 25% AS difference from PD damning enough? Again, I'm pretty herp derp tired atm. Trinity was like one of those recommended items or something from her champion spotlight if I remember correctly. Of course, it just hasn't been found to be most optimal for her since she needs good sustained or pure damage to nuke people down.

There's many problems, but the biggest one for me personally is that vayne is prone to getting less farm than other heroes because of her weak laning phase. You can't get triforce as early as other champions, and even if you do get early triforce due to being ahead, vayne doesn't really need a triforce to have midgame domination.

Trinity is 4k gold and you don't have instant ranged burst like Corki/Ez. As Vayne, all of your skills are basically all about your autoattacks. You're super squishy and can't just disengage the same way Ez/Corki does since your Tumble requires an autoattack to reset the CD and doesn't instantly get you out of a fight. I really dislike it because a BT is so much cheaper and gives you much needed survivability. At this point, you want AS so Zeal makes sense. And PD is then a more obvious item progressions at 1650 upgrade from Zeal compared to 2.9k for Trinity.
So yeh. Too expensive and too hard to fit into your itemisation progression. You want instant damage and survivability immediately of which Trinity doesn't give you ASAP.
If it helps, think of yourself as a squishier Corki with no burst and a worse disengage. You'd go IE Corki in this case over Trinity Corki. Trinity Corki is all about burst. IE Corki is about autos. Vayne is about autos.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Trinity on Corki or Ezreal? I'd much rather see an AD with BT/Zeal or IE than a triforce.

Trinity is ok. But I miss the hard autoattack damage you lose from not getting a BF. I've personally gone back to IE unless I super-snowball the lane and back at like 1450g and I'm against Ezrael. Just off Greaves+2xDoran. So I might get Phage for the hp and power item to further snowball the lane. But yeh. I really miss having a BF Sword to chunk people's face with when I auto.

Yeah, thats how I feel too. I feel like I bully much harder when I have a BF sword+vamp than when I have like Phage and two other basic TF items.

I don't like the Trinity builds either, but the both Corki and Ezreal have great power spikes with those items. I think a lot of it is dictated by how useful the phage is to the ADC in relation to the team comps and the completion of the item is the natural progression.

IE is cheaper by ~200 gold though. So if you're keeping up in farm, you'll still get it around the same time.

I think the Phage + Sheen + Zeal combo is likely stronger for those champs than the components of IE. Just as important, I think, is it lets some players situationally skip a Dblade, which no one really likes buying, they just do because they must.

CLG EU are doing showmatches. Damn I missed the Hecarim games. Whatever AD item you get doesn't matter since you're better off spending the time thinking about items on how to improve your mechanics instead.
This is also true for any discussion about GP10. 99% of non dedicated supports don't know how to ward. There's like a certain threshold you need to reach to be able to push every advantage hard enough that you can start being picky about items as AD or support on the condition that you're maximizing all the obvious advantages.
IE is bad on Corki now due to nerf.
