That was sort of the point. Sufficiency was basically saying that because she needs to go in melee range to use her AoE skills, they don't count as "real" AoE. There's absolutely nothing about Diana's kit that makes her less AoE-oriented than, say, Amumu. | ||

I highly doubt anyone is going to build her like amumu and she isn't going to work like him. No matter how good amumu is,his early levels are still hell if your lanes aren't strong and ready to protect you. | ||

I wasn't implying that, but when she has: 1) Extremely respectable baseline damage 2) A powerful CC/utility spell that doesn't scale off any damage stats 3) A combo that scales in effectiveness off of CDR (Q->R) There's absolutely no reason to assume that she has to be built squishy. | ||

She's melee, has incentive to be in the middle of fights, and even has an ability that pulls everything towards her, plus her shield scales with AP and reistances. I wouldn't even dream of building her squishy AP with that type of kit. | ||
