Assuming you don't get zoned out and denied (and that hurts Kassadin really hard anyway as he needs to be able to burst up a carry). Say you have 200 AP. Before you would just get 100 extra damage on a walk. Now you get 160. 60 damage difference in the AP alone, which will yield overall more damage if you have level 2 Riftwalk (probably will), but with 20 less damage now, it's actually 40 more damage, which is worth 2 stacks before you go below the damage pre-change, then it's nerfed and your mana is going to suffer a lot so it isn't really wise to build up 3+ stacks at that point. Level 1 Riftwalk will now do more damage than before. So he's more threatening at 6 (not by much I guess, since Rift is usually used to get in range for a Q->E combo) with teleporting. If you hit lategame and get 400-500 AP, you will be doing much more damage now. At 400 AP, we're talking 320 damage versus the 200 damage you got with the old ratio. That's worth (guess what) 2 stacks before damage falls off. With a full build you'll have somewhere in the range of 500-600 AP depending on items so if it ever reaches that point your damage increase with a Rift will be pretty good before a certain number of stacks (likely won't build them though without blue buff, even then it's not a great idea). In the end, it's a buff until about 3 stacks, then nerfed at 150+ AP. Then again, who the fuck uses Riftwalk to kill shit except when chasing or when someone is out of position? Doesn't really affect him that much, mostly at level 6. | ||

AD ratios would probably make her midgame a lot less awkward, but if they didn't hit the base values her early game would be retardedly strong, and if they did change the numbers to compensate (which they would) it would take away Tristana's unique power curve (strong early, weak mid, strong late) | ||

When you think about how much easier it will be to lane/not push, toggling sounds great, but I think it's just a part of what makes trist. Players learn how to use it, and the added difficulty and nuances make the champion cooler imo. | ||
