This info from the LoL wiki is wrong then? Or am I misinterpreting?

Every point of magic resistance requires a unit to take 1% more of its maximum health in magic damage to be killed. This is called "effective health."

Example: A unit with 60 magic resistance has 60% of its maximum health in its effective health, so if the unit has 1000 maximum health, it will take 1600 magic damage to kill it.

What this means: by definition, magic resistance does not have diminishing returns, because each point increases magic durability by 1% whether the unit has 10 magic resistance or 1000 magic resistance.

You're misinterpreting the info you're reading.

1 point of MR increases your EHP by an amount equal to 1% of your ACTUAL HP. This is not the same as increasing your EHP by 1%.

Conversely, the EHP gain from increasing your actual HP is not equal to that amount, but is dependent on the % reduction you're getting from other sources. If I gain 250 actual HP, but I have 50 MR, my EHP vs. magic is increased by 375, not 250.

I play a fair bit of bruiser cho and troll spark/wits/triforce was quite fun with maxed vorpal blades. Not good though.
Only the weak link is strong enough to break the chain.

I may be wrong, but for large tournies the money is given to the teams and they can distribute it as they wish between players/managers. I remember a discussion way back regarding how much managers are taking from tournament prize money. For local tournies that I've been to, since a lot of teams have players that are all strangers, they split the prize money to the 5 players that have played the most games, or you can personally request to be split another way.

Other way around - Froggen realized he needed to leave now if he wanted to eat at all before CLGEU finished their tournament for today, so they decided to just rush in and have a fight before leaving.

Spark is essentially based on Maelstrom/Mjollnir from DotA. The problem is that it essentially shares the same problem that the porting of Battle Fury->Tiamat had, which is that the niche that both items fill (providing farming power and AoE creep clearing abilities to carries who do not have the ability to do so) is simply not a niche that needs to be filled on 90% of the heroes, because everyone and their mom has some AoE farming skill. This is also exacerbated by the fact that the AoE on the items is reduced to the point where it's not even GOOD at doing that on the few heroes that do want that utility (both Spark and Tiamat do not have the ability to hit ranged creeps on attacks hitting the melee creeps).

Honestly speaking, I don't feel Riot took a careful look at either item in porting them to LoL, because it should be fairly clear that the utility of both items represent a niche that is rarely called for in LoL. Pretty much nobody in DotA buys Battle Fury or Maelstrom just for the AoE damage. You do it either to farm, or to troll.

So we all agree that WW is pick/ban status in nearly every scenario nowadays, right? I played 6 games with a top WW last night, and we won every single game in part or completely thanks to him farming all day and becoming unkillable because you can't deny that dude without specifically counterpicking him or camping top lane. Shit was awesome, though I doubt the other team thought so.
