AoE doesn't inherently mean spell vamp is bad, you just have to hit multiple targets. I'm not sure why you couldn't build Amumu exactly the same way people build Rumble. Rumble also has to balance his stats and nobody suggests for a moment that means there's no room for WotA. (Note: Most of Rumble's damage is also AoE) Same problem with jungle Fizz. It can technically work, but compared to the other options I mentioned it's weaker, slower, and less secure. It's possible there's a setup where they're stronger than what I've tried, but I haven't seen or experienced it. Jungle Singed could work. WotA isn't particularly great on him, but it is funny to see your health rising when the entire enemy team blindly chases you through your poison. | ||

I just saw this spread sheet on Reddit. It's a chart of Wickd's top lane match ups. Aparently Vlad, Cass, Trundle, and Pantheon are the guys you need to pick to shut Yorik down. The chart isn't finished, as I'm sure there is at least one more counter for Yorick. Yorick is the hardest hard counter to ever hard counter pantheon. There's absolutely nothing panth can do in that lane. Trundle is the clear counter to Yorick, though. His passive gives him tons of free health if yorick even tries to use his skills. Cass beats nearly everyone so that's believable. I'd also wager Lee Sin can beat Yorick if played correctly. | ||

I'll play vs. Yorick 10x in a row before playing against Malphite just once. But it's really stupid to say Pantheon counters Yorick while saying Irelia counters Pantheon in the same chart. writing a matchup chart for top is stupid anyway, no one has even close to enough experience in all those different matchups to talk. Even with thousands of games, I'll bet Wickd has played 75+% of those matchups 0-2 times, which is far too few to draw a conclusion about the outcome of them. | ||
