In that case the debuff becomes almost useless or completely overpowered, depending on the situation. In a teamfight or in lane? You've got other champs/minions around to give you vision, so having a decreased vision radius is inconsequential. In a 1v1 in jungle, or something along those lines? oops now you can't see anything. Making mechanics and abilities flavorful like this is a cool idea, but when you're trying to force it against the grain of how the game actually functions it just doesn't make any sense. | ||

Precisely why I have such loathing hatred for Nocturne ult and especially Graves's spammable variant. They're both incredibly obnoxious mechanics that have no counter-play despite being so frustrating to deal with. I don't see how either of them pass the "anti-fun" test of Zileas. I certainly wouldn't want to see any additional abilities or champs get such an addition, regardless of how underplayed the champs might be. | ||

It used to be a worse distinction. Then they released graves. But MF, Ashe, Yi, Kog, ect are all boned pretty hard. | ||

Here's what happened: My Team + Show Spoiler + Xerath (me) Nid (top, my friend) Cait and Taric (bot) GP (jungle) Their Team + Show Spoiler + Cass (mid) Talon (top) Alistar Ashe (bot) Udyr (jungle) Ok, so we begin the game and I'm laning normally vs Cass, she is very aggressive and get right up to my tower but im xerath so i'm ok. At level 4 or 5 Cass leaves mid and starts to go bot. I think "what the fuck is she doing missing all this CS and exp at this low level, she wont get any kills bot as they will just sit under turret and its too strong at this point", so I call cass mia and ping, but I stay in mid to CS. However, bot somehow gets caught completely out of position and cass get a double kill on them as well as first blood. Bot yells at me for not controlling my lane. We buy and go back mid, but now I am really defensive because cass is now much stronger than me. Level 6 or 7 she leaves again and goes bot, this time I follow her down there and somehow a huge fight comes up, she triple kills bot lane and GP, but I kill their bot lane. But during this whole time Udyr is at my turret mid and takes it down. Now Cass is mega fed and I have no tower, she kills me in lane once so i'm 2-1 to her 6-0. Now she starts going bot every opportunity and they just dive our bot with alistar. Cass gets another triple kill on bot and jungle GP, and continues to just farm kills off of bot lane. Bot lane is now super pissed at me, yelling at me that I need to follow my lane and control etc. I dont feel like I can follow Cass to bot because she is going right through our jungle, and If she just waits in a bush or I meet her in there, she will kill me 100%, I cant fight her straight up and I dont think I could ever fight her straight up after her first double kill. Anyway Cass just farms bot and gets more fed than I have ever seen anyone get in ranked (like 22-2), we are totally destroyed. During this whole time my friend Nid top is just shitting on Talon and pushing T2, he never leaves his lane and neither does talon. Everyone is angry at me after the game for letting Cass roam and get hugely fed, but I feel like I couldn't follow her after her first kills which she should never have gotten if bot had been paying attention. I felt there was really nothing I could do at that point. I called her MIA and pinged every time, I even came down the second time and got 2 kills, and I tried to follow her later in the game and got jumped on in our jungle and killed by her in 3 seconds. So what do you think? Did I fuck up? What should have happened in this situation? | ||

So what do you think? Did I fuck up? What should have happened in this situation? Well, realistically I'd say it is bots fault for getting caught if you called MIA and pinged. Realisticallly they pay attention and Cass misses farm and levels, while their bot lane loses XP because they split it three ways. It likely would have been strong if you followed and counter ganked too, and I think that play relies less on your teamnmates reacting properly than pinging, so maybe in solo queue it right move? I dunno I feel like you did right thing, but be interesting to here from players less mediocre than me. | ||
