Was just in a game 57 minutes long. I had highest cs on team with 320, the 2nd highest was 250. Simply unacceptable. Even bad farming from me, and I still somehow out farm everyone else on my team, I feel too many people undervalue split pushing a lot... ![]()

And Aegis is about 300 gold cheaper. Definitely at like level 13 or so Aegis is way better. I threw together a quick and dirty spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aowpba9laK0vdHBLYzBsZXFCVHdUOE80VDUycWg3eFE The spreadsheet only compares the auras, not the stats the owner gains. Playing around with the numbers, it appears that Locket gives comparable survivability to Aegis. As would be expected, Aegis does better the more health someone has, while Locket does better the more armor/resistance someone has. Anyone who's interested can copy the spreadsheet and play around with the numbers themselves. My take on it is that Aegis is better simply because it provides the owner well rounded stats and doesn't require timing an active to be effective. You can also sit on your HoG longer building an Aegis. I'd probably still build Locket later if the game lasted long enough.

I've figured it out, get 5 players, get 5 aotl and 5 lockets, coordinate locket usage. never take dmg.

Of course people rather battle each other to the death in a manly display of power.

Wouldn't it make more sense for a support to just build Aegis and Shurelya's instead of Aegis plus Locket? Especially since Aegis is cheaper. For the aegis to be most effective you want it to be built by midgame. A no cs support can't do that easily, especially if they're investing in gp10. Better for the support to get shurelya's and the jungle/top to get aegis. So in the end, it leaves the support grabbing locket. ![]()

I think Philo -> HoG -> Aegis, then upgrade philo -> shurelia's then HoG -> Locket has the "best" flow for a support build. But rarely will the game last long enough for a support to finish 3 major items... And if I may add, the most important stat an item can ever have from a support's perspective is low cost, since you a) have no money and b) need a disproportionate amount of money for wards/pinks/oracles/pots/... So Aegis being cheaper is huge.

For me the choice is reverie + aegis or reverie + locket

You guys remember when I estimated bouncing bomb at 260 + 0.65 from that one time when Phreak hit the golem with it? I think I'm pretty good.
