I honestly can't understand when people bitch about Riot's monetization policies. I have 40'ish champs, loads of runes and pretty much the only time I've paid was when I thought: "Hey, I've enjoyed hundreds of LoL games, they deserve my money!". I bought the rune page bundle and several champs and skins, but that's it. I never felt any need to pay money. Back then when I only had 2 rune pages I only had so many runes to fill them. You don't really need to own all champs, as well.
Well, really, Riot lusts for your money? Tell that to Bigpoint or some other company that make their free-to-play games totally unplayable without investing at least 100$ a month. Riot doesn't sell raw power (as of runepages, I believe everyone should just get 5 pages total at level 30, the rest is fine for their price) like at all. Champions are balanced well enough to play the old ones all the time, so you're not obliged to get the new ones as well. LoL without money investment doesn't really constrain you much, you won't learn that fast to require all that content anyway. Any F2P MMO? It's 100% impossible to play at some point if you don't pay. I'm amazed how people can even compare the two.

Since that, 3 or 4 4800IP release, and only 6300. I miss the time were Riot was proud of telling IP price = difficulté of the champion. I thought champion prices used to be based on age. nope never there was 6.3k champs at release and they progressively made new champs cost more and more Tryndamere basically stated that all the champs coming out will be 6.3k IP to limit the rate people get them, but like I have something over 2k games played and I'm still missing 1 x 1350 13 x 3150 1 x 4800 19 x 6300 or 169,950 IP worth of champions. I'm on the high end of games played at that. The 6.3k line is just a load of crap: they don't need to have them that high to limit the rate at which people acquire new champions. At most if they cut the price of a champ every time they released a new one then it would make some sense, as the new champ wouldn't get flooded, but the amount of IP needed overall would be less massive. The total IP cost of all champions in the game is 326,550. Note that they charge the same RP for a 3150, 4800, or 6300 champ. So anyway, the common "argument" is that high IP costs on champions will make people spend more RP. Given how I've already shown that I only have 156,600 IP worth of champions (less than half of the total) with a huge number of games played compared to the typical player, it's pretty obvious that the 6.3k tag has little meaningful difference to whether or not someone will buy it with rp and, if they're going to buy it with RP anyway, 3150 vs 6300 IP is the same cost in RP. No, what I'm saying is that garen and annie cost 450 ip because they're very very old champions.

What's with people picking a top when I pick Kennen for top and when I specifically tell them I'm going top they go 'But you picked Kennen aren't you going mid?!?!!?!'

Price reductions (though rare and far between) have been done on primarily old champs, but at a very disproportionate rate to the cost of new champs being released.

My client is taking AGES to check for differences.... like a couple hours or something... it's really odd, never had it take anywhere near this long before.

Since you rarely post here I'll just word it this way: You kinda come off pretty whiney, so be carefull how you word things. Posting about a recently lost game in GD is most likely not a good idea.
Be flexible. That's the best advice for solo q, ever. When everything goes down the drain and you have one total douche who is able to ruin the entire game for you and 3 other people... be the guy that runs Sion support. Be the guy who can jungle GP, solo top him or play him bot.
While stuff like the above won't be the most effective, if you're the top player in the team (we all are, rite?) you can still make it work and it beats having someone forced into a role or pull the "k duo mid" / "afk" card.
The choice in gaining elo is usually between raising your ego or raising your elo. Getting both is impossible in a lot of cases. (Note: I love putting my ego above my elo and I'm having fun that way - but then whining about how stupid other people are is kinda redundant. =P)

Like literally, its actually kind of sad. Ask Soniv or anyone I play with regularly. I play jungle like a clone of saint with 75% of his abilities.

Hey guys, quick question where do you turn on the option to increase chat window size when you mouse over it? thanks

20 hours remaining on patch... what the fuck? My internet is doing just fine, I'm pretty confused. Anyone else had problems like this b4?
now its saying 8 mins... I don't even know what to believe anymore.

So i know i asked this before, but what is the amount of cs you should have by 20 minutes?
I was told in the other thread around 160, but in a lane where neither of us are exactly winning,(i.e it'd be really easy to get that much) i can barely manage like 130ish by 20 minutes, assuming no kills blah blah dumb shit etc.
Or is 5k @ 20 still an acceptable amount of gold earned?

Work on it in a game without anyone else. Tell yourself "gj" for every cs you get and "stupid thing" for every one you miss. Then do the same vs bots.
In a real game play about 3-5 in a role where your goal is to maximize CS - NO MATTER WHAT. Don't harass. Ignore the minimap. Ignore chat. Ignore your support setting up perfect spots to harass or kill someone. Tell your jungler to gtfo your lane.
Invest about 5-6h of focussed gameplay into the above and then play normally, "just like before". Your average cs will have increased by 20%+.
You can thank me later.

Depends on the lane. but 200 by 20 is a good target to aim for on AD.
