Xin was one who pass the Tets realm before going live to pentakill everyone everygame. x) no he's referring to when the whole game was in beta (and jax and tf at the time were considered full releases). They only later changed their kits (in TF's case) or nerfed them (jax), but both got out of PTR and onto the live servers. edit: and both of them were def a lot more retarded than release xin.

If sorcs didn't do so much damage people would get cdr boots more. the only champ i don't get sorc before something other than dring is heimer since i feel like he's a fairly safe champ and the more ap the more poke

But they still do the conga line of dying once you get ahead. They really need to make bots realize they're 6 levels down so charging in might not be the best idea... :> Then again, I suppose this is a pretty good represenation of what I run into baddies doing, so I suppose that's pretty accurate. :>

Generally you pick up like 2 dorans before sorc shoes though, so you can survive some burst and have some mana regen to work with.

Obviously not a game-maker, but she might become more popular as an AD carry at lower ELOs. ashe's kit has the potential to be incredibly strong. She still has the best initiation skill of any ranged AD in the game. The trade off still is less damage, and it's possible these buffs might address that a little bit, but I kinda doubt it. That said, if she does ever reach the level of approx similar dmg output as other ranged AD, she will instantly become OP.

And I'm a little sad about the name change to Stark's Fervor. It sounded a lot more poetic than Zeke's Herald ![]()

Oh yeah, she's still good, but I'm curious as to why they felt it necessary to buff her in thes ways. It's like that random Nasus buff a while ago. I mean, I was already kicking ass as it was, but then I got better stats n' stuff. Wonder what playing Ashe'll be like to be honest.

Its like one of those weird things where the first time you go early sorcs and just blow people up you get that "wait WTF!?!" moment. I remember doing the math on this at some point, and having it show that Sorcs is more damage than Blasting Wand even past the point when you have Deathcap. It works out because MPen is a % multiplier on your spell damage. While the % value goes down as people get more MR, it also becomes equivalent to more AP as your spell damage from AP goes up.

My guess it gives the right balance between people who want the champ real bad and spend rp and people who just happen to have 6.3 and will spend it on a champ who looks cool. It's essentially Riot realizing that they have the ability to print money. I obviously don't have their financial reports at my desk but the implication is pretty clear: why make new champions for less when you don't have to? If they saw some sort of meaningful backlash from doing so they'd stop doing it. At some point someone probably made the suggestion, "lets see what happens if we release like 10 6300 champs in a row"(or something close to it, like "well nothing happened this time, make the next champ 6300 as well") and when nothing bad happened they kept it up because it's clearly better for business(higher IP cost= more RP buys). I for one find it a pretty terrible thing, but clearly I'm in a vast, vast minority or it wouldn't keep happening. The average champ price has increased by a hefty amount since retail, when in theory a game should be it's most 'expensive.' I'm still absolutely baffled at the lack of a new 20 champ bundle of some kind(like champs 41-60, or a make your own roster of X-6300's, Y-3150/4800's, Z-450/1350's, something).

I think a lot of us are in agreement - but if they were to properly stratify - say 6 months at 6300, 6 months at 4800, then becomes 3150 - I would be a lot more okay with it. The fact that we've only really had the Riot Ambassador incident lately as far as price reductions go doesn't really sit well with any of us, I'd imagine.

To come back to the patch, Ziggs seems pretty fun, think I'm going to get him when he gets released on EU, since I need a new AP mid champ now that people are starting to realise that Cassio is OP and are going to start banning her :< Also I'm curious on what you guys think of the Viktor changes, they said before releasing the patch notes that Viktor was going to get some pretty big quality of life changes improvements in the patch but those things still seem really minor to me. (Shield comes back faster, stun activates faster) I really doubt it's going to make him on par with other AP champs.

I'm okay with that to be honest, and I'm sure that a lot of players would agree that 6300 is a bit much for some characters, and 3150 is a little cheap for others. (I've seen a few really good Talons so obvious I'm inclinded to believe that he shouldn't be up there).
