Not even close to possible. If you didn't play during Xin release, you don't know what OP on release mean.
Beta TF.
When you try to squeeze a champ kit with skills scaled comparably to DotA's power level into LoL, bad things happen.
Played ziggs a bit, and he honestly just feels like an inferior gragas. Only thing he has on him is the semi-global ult and a ranged auto. His ratios are meh, especially when compared to gragas's 1 to .9 on his main nuke.

Wasn't even the ratios. It was the god damn double Gold Card AOE stuns. wtf Riot.

Just played my first one, it's so intense. :O
whats ARAB?
and about ziggs: i think lich bane would be pretty strong on him. he has low cooldowns on his Q => more procs, and his passive gives him more damage on autoattacks too. so maybe double dorans, DC and then lich bane?
His Q looks a lot harder to dodge than Gragas', from what I've seen on streams. Also, better range and radius on his ult. And Gragas can't zone as effectively (except by leaving his barrel in the way for the full duration).

It's for dominion. Neoillusions so elitist. First AD sona, now mentions ARAB without saying what it is first.

Nah, the AoE stuns were OK when they didn't bug out and go through spell shields for no reason, especially since lots of people couldn't reliably pull golds when they were actually hard. Though blues were still annoying because Sheen/Lichbane procs had no cooldown, and blue cards were "pick another card" instead of mana restore, so you could chain-Blue Card for obscene DPS even if you sucked ass at pulling golds.
Gate being a regular skill, though, with cooldown that scaled to like 20 seconds, THAT was what sealed the deal.

Also this doesn't really apply since I didn't even start playing sona until after soraka got nerfed and she got buffed. (Probably was around 1700-1900 at the time, every SINGLE game would have had another support with the AD carry)

Wasn't Destiny the regular skill, and Gate the ultimate? It seemed to say so when I read the patch notes on the wiki, but they only say what the skills became, not what they were to begin with.

Gate was the regular skill. It had a ~5 sec channel time like normal TP, but you could TP anywhere, and it had like 60/55/50/45/40 second CD or something similar. The Ultimate gave the vision debuff we know today, while also applying a 45% slow to all hit by it, and making Gate instant-cast instead of channeled for the duration (it was also bugged to break spell shields while still applying the debuff).
His passive was also global passive crit for teammates. Not really special, but pretty high on the gold value spectrum as far as passives go.
EDIT: For those that never experienced the beta TF insanity, here's a little taste.
Note even the little things that people did wrong back then, like thinking that the buff duration mastery sucked. Maxing Gate last was also the normal way to go, when in retrospect, I would probably max it first if i knew what i knew now. Having TP on a 24 second CD (with max CDR from blue buff) at level 9 is a joy that I will never know again.

Nope, your E skill allowed you to globally (I think?) teleport on a very short CD. The remake made it his ult and gave him the proc skill.
