And then I'd rageclose queue and click on Coop vs AI. One second later, queue pops.

I've recently been noticing that I've been able to get my CS much higher than I would previously been able too. Even just playing jungler I'll out CS everyone on my team, even in a 40min long match. I don't know why people are so obsessed with getting the kills, but then don't cs at all. The best way to keep a lead in the lane is to make sure you keep your CS up. Every time I see my bot lane with 3 kills up but down in cs, I just want to face palm.
Tl;dr CS and gold wins games, not just kills.
Yep, this is when I first noticed that I was improving as well.
The best thing about this (skillset) is, that you can now play now all those champions you've previously sucked at, or haven't played before and dominate even if your first game.

You might as well play with a random who actually tries. A random champ pick doesn't mean that much below 2000 elo as long as the player doesn't intentionally throw the game (and the rest of the team doesn't give up either or insists on playing as if that random pick was a specific role he is not).

With dodge you lose -10 compared to the normal -12. But normally if I get that bug I just click in lock in right away and maybe be able to trade out the champion I get.

Only ever played random queue before yesterday, wondering if people can give me an idea of when I'm reaching an above average standard, as I have no idea of what any of the numbers indicate! :p
Currently I'm "1269" in 5v5 solo/duo queue, won 10 lost 7 and have won 8 of those games as jungle skarner 90% win ratio with him. Any tips on the sort of number I should be aiming for to be an above average player?

I personally usually get a ranked game in 3-4 minutes, a normal blind in 5-6, and a normal draft in 10-12. Normals being longer than ranked is kinda dumb.

Since everyone starts at ~1200 elo, and the system is roughly zero-sum (if you gain X elo, someone else loses X elo), about 50% of players (who play ranked) are above 1200 elo, and about 50% are below 1200 elo. It's impossible to account for the players who never play ranked at all, so we don't include those for our guesstimation of "above average".
So, 1269 is slightly "above average". You're only like 2 losses away from "below average" though.

Ok thanks allot for the info, I understand the system much better now.

That's pretty weird. I get normals faster than that on SEA lol. And on NA my normal queue is like 30s.

So I have a question, I just got to level 30 yesterday and I'm a little confused with the whole tribunal thing. I know you can review cases of harassment and such and get IP for it and I did like 10 or so games but when will I get the IP? If someone could clear this whole thing up for me I'd appreciate it.

You get an email in a couple of days saying how much you got.

Just because everyone starts at 1200 doesnt mean that is the 50% cutoff.
Hitting the bronze mark (1250) was the top 25% of all ranked lol players in season 1. While the numbers might be slightly different come season 2, you can safely say that you are WELL above average.
