If he's the jungler then he's not the support? He fills the tanky jungler role fine, but he's not that fast at clearing and bad at dueling. He has great ganks though, especially in the hands of Snoopeh, and doesn't need tons of farm.

His only downside is damage, but they aren't running a low damage top so it's not really an issue.

I wouldn't worry bout your W/L in normals though, it is usually the king pin area for like ridiculous trolling and trying out new things.

You can also look it up on riot5.com. No guarantees on how up-to-date it is but it's accurate in my experience.

People slowly starting to realize that scaling doenst mean shit if you dont live. Realistically all aps should be built like bruisers: survivability first priority, damage after. You do more damage by being alive long enough to cast a spell you otherwise wouldnt than by going glass cannon and dying after getting off 1 rotation.

Oh for sure. It also depends on whether you played with experienced players when you first started playing. You could be 90-100 and be at a significantly higher "normal ELO" than someone who is 100-90 simply because you started out at a way higher bracket.

Its like the SC2 ladder, they don't show you the important numbers in normal mode.

Or you can build glass cannon as AP and actually have proper positioning so you don't die and do tons and "tons of damage."

Realistically all APs should build based on the situation and how that works for or against their strengths. Warmog's worked for Froggen on Anivia that game because Anivia's passive doubles its benefits, Anivia's damage is fairly continuous, and surviving Kennen/Ahri's ultimates was roughly equivalent with winning the team fight. At the same time, that sort of build would have made no sense on Ahri.

Actually Froggen uses a tanky build on Ahri as well because she needs to be dancing around very close to enemies. Like I think warmogs is a bit over the top, but on some characters like annie, ahri, cass, ryze, swain- getting tanky through items like abyssal and shit like that makes sense.
