Too many times I want to shunpo to a creep, for a cs, but sometimes just straight up die, because i get stuck on top of minions. grrrr. Also, how does volibear play? great? Uh, what? As if Phreak is the only reason they changed jungle...

Much love for the new masteries. But the new jungle? I really think they'll hotfix it in the next day or so to increase the XP and maybe slightly lower the spawn timers. After that I think it'll be fine. Much of the outrage over the new jungle is based on the poorly tuned XP/Gold rewards. Not all the outrage, of course. There's valid grief about the new design, and that's totally fine. But the loudest complaints are mostly due to the fact that the jungler can't even power farm and keep up with side lanes. That definitely needs to change.

My first game after the patch, we had a bear guy jungling and he was pretty damn good, but his exp was suffering from it so much. I can't remember how often he ganked, he'd given the team at least 6 kills I believe (he got most of them) but by the time I was level 10, he was only level 6, the rest of the team was around 8-9 and the enemy was 8-9 and their jungler was also 6. My typing seems a little incoherent right now, I don't know if anyone's going to understand what I'm trying to say. Sounds unlikely. I have been ganking a ton and have not been hurt at all. Jungled with Skarner 3 teams and Udyr once so far. Always ahead of bot lane, sometimes matching solo lanes, never behind. Not one time. I also have been counter jungling more to save myself time, go to gank bot. Nothing there? Do enemy wolves, try and gank mid, nothing there ->wraiths my wolves, try and gank top, nothing there ->enemy double gols So on and so forth, and because I play Udyr and Skarner, if enemy jungle catches me chances are I can win 1v1 while pinging like a madman so my team comes too. If I can't win? Udyr and Skarner can get away ezpz. I think fast Udyr and Skarner are even better than all the other junglers now. Such fast clears. I have never jungled Shyvana but I imagine she is really strong too now if your lanes have CC. I find Gragas and Morgana can push lane as well as Xerath and Morgana Spell Shield is OP vs his Stun. Miss little circle? NP he needs to land another spell to stun.

The thing with your example is it is extremely specific and the chances of it mattering are extremely slow. If you're hitting a high hp target then getting them to 50% itself is a chore, and then chances are the 900 damage will kill them are slim to none anyway. If its a low hp target, chances are if they get to 50% hp they will be dead even if it only did 400 damage. If you rush warmogs sure you can hit like a truck with 1 skill but you'll just basically bumble around the rest of the time. 290 + 184 damage for volibear's w. With no stacks on warmogs. He can only use it after three attacks. The damage also gets multiplied by 1.5 for a 50% life enemy. It seems to do a lot of damage, possibly more than nidalee's takedown. Nidalee deals base damage + up to 300 damage +3dmg per attack damage At level 11, and with an infinity edge that's 94 + 300 + 3*164 damage. 886. This is against a target with 1% of their remaining hp. Nidalee doesn't have to stack up her takedown, but she isn't as beefy as volibear either. I don't think his W is that dangerous though. It instagibs any caster with 50% health, but it can be hard to get off and it does have a long cooldown. I think his ult is scary though. Volibear's ultimate hits each target enemy at level 11 with 115 bonus magic damage. With just three stingers/recurve bows he gets 1.5 attacks/second. Over 12 seconds he can get up to 18 attacks in. 2070 magic damage to a single target. Volibear can hit 4 targets. He's a tank that hits hard. I recall twitch's ultimate used to last a set time. This got changed because people would complain that he hit too hard. I can see the same thing happening to him. Riot has a good marketing strategy. Make new champions always overpowered. Never underpowered. Make lots of money. Eh... I forgot his W also adds attack speed.

In the old jungle you cleared everything and had no choice but to gank or counter-jungle. The timers were such that there was literally nothing else to do while you waited. Their intent with the new jungle seems to be they want you to always have the choice to gank, counter-jungle, or farm. They want someone who is only farming to risk having their lanes fall behind without ganks. They want someone who is ganking too often and failing to pay the price in XP/gold compared to someone who is farming. It allows for a lot more dynamic decision making. The problem was in the execution. They made the jungle worth such little XP and gold that it's mandatory that the jungler stay in the jungle and farm. Even so, the jungler is still falling behind in farm and levels. The numbers are WAY off, but I think fundamentally there's a valid thought at the heart of all this. At least, I hope.

It took three people to take her down and they lost one, almost lost two. She looks silly strong if you can kite strongly with her. The Sivir didn't even activate her ult until halfway through, after getting hit by SV's (on jarman) knockup+slow. She was kiting quite fine with just the passive MS. SoloTop sivir, btw. She also completely shit on tryndamere at low levels. Math on nidalee takedown: (Active): Nidalee's next attack will be enhanced to deal additional physical damage plus increased damage based on how low her opponents health is to a maximum of 300% physical damage. This attack cannot be dodged. No cost Cooldown: 5 seconds Minimum Damage: 40 / 70 / 100 (+1.0 per attack damage) Maximum Damage: 120 / 210 / 300 (+3.0 per attack damage) Math on Volibear Frenzy: (Passive): Volibear temporarily gains bonus attack speed after an autoattack. This bonus stacks up to 3 times and lasts for 4 seconds. Passive Attack Speed: 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 % per stack (Active): While Volibear has 3 stacks of Frenzy, he can activate this ability to bite a target enemy. The stacks won't be consumed. The bite will deal physical damage that scales with his own bonus health. This damage will in turn be increased by 1% for every 1% of the target's missing health. Cost: 40 mana Cooldown: 18 seconds Base Physical Damage: 90 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 290 (+20% of bonus health) Did we also forget to mention that the skill is giving you 60% AS and you don't need to charge it up on the target you're attacking, you just need 3 stacks of the buff? Yes, it's significantly longer CD than takedown, but it also doesn't do garbage damage if your target's health isn't low. And 60% AS. (Why is phreak running AS runes on a champ who has a huge AS steroid when he's attacking stuff? Arpen seems so good to make his retarded, high CD + high damage + low scaling kit better)

Either Volibear is the slowest jungler ever or he just has no clue what he is doing. If you get 6 kills as jungler you out level the solos easily.
