I like Xin a lot and he's loads of fun to play, but you have to admit there's better bursters top and better junglers. (and bruisers, that is) His lvl 2 gank is one of the, if not the strongest in the game, but that's about it. Sure he stomps people in Solo Q or people who don't know what they are doing. But that does not necessarily make him a strong champion.

Xin is in the unhappy place where his kit is inherently broken, and there really isnt any way to fix it without changing who it is. His 1v1 is incredibly strong thanks to his q and e, and his ulti can chunk entire teams quite badly, AND make him tankier.
The real question is how the hell do you buff him? You give him damage, then he becomes the best early game 1v1 in the game, which will snowball all game long. You buff his inherent tankiness, and he becomes a teamfight monster thanks to his ult and his ability to stick to and chase high priority targets (irelia v2.0 with more disable power).

There are always better champs but in the ends it's a fucking game, and as long as the champ isn't worthless it's ok.
People always seem to forget that this is a game and don't seem to even consider a champion unless he's the very best at what he does. I'm pretty sure the majority doesn't play in big money tourneys 95% of the time they play this game.

His disable power is garbage now, I don't think infinite sticking is really an issue for him anymore.
I'd like it if they refocused him to play around more with mobility. Replace the knockup on Q with a slow, take the slow off his E, let it jump to anyone (minions wards allied heroes etc), and give it a really low cooldown.

Xins role get's overshadowed by nocturne for hard engaging and Irelia for the more solo top style bruiser. He's easier to play than both but I feel like the other two simply are better since all the nerfs.

Yes, let's give him Akali ulti but better, what a great idea. I think he's fine as is, he's just another hero that's a very niche pick.

I think MoonBear said that Riot considers her borderline OP. So probably Riven nerfs in a few patches?
And I don't think that Riven is as hard to play as others do. You can 1v1 almost anyone at level 1 and late game you just jump straight into the enemy team and mash all of the buttons.

Xin ult is harder to hit, it has no range indicator it's like smartcast, way harder to hit everyone possible whenever needed.
Try hitting everyone with mumu ult @ max range.
