After 5 more games of jungle Udyr, trying out a 21/9/0 build, I think I've decided that I prefer the 0/21/9 build. I realize it isn't as cost-efficient as an offense spec, but Phoenix Udyr doesn't scale that well from AP or AD, mostly attack speed and CDR. The extra move speed, scaling CDR, mitigation, CC reduction, and HP from defense is all pretty useful, and the 20% longer buff duration is really strong. After playing without it, I can't believe the difference it makes.

I realize I am giving up ~15 seconds clearing speed going defense spec, but I find I come out of the jungle with more health, and that extra movement does make ganking noticeably easier.

I will keep experimenting, I'm thinking of trying out tiger stance on Udyr again. I used to jungle him with tiger a lot, but Phoenix is just easier to play and faster, so I switched. I think tiger stance would take better advantage of the offense tree, and could start vamp scepter.

And the big skin overhaul comes...

On Friday 18th November Moneypenny wrote:
Summoners!

Starting this Thursday, the 25th of November, we will be retiring 21 of our more classic skins from the League of Legends store to make room for the next generation of awesome champion apparel. These retired skins, known as Legacy Skins, will no longer be available for purchase, but may reappear in the store under very special circumstances.

Naturally, all Legacy Skins will still be playable for anyone who owns them after they have been retired, and will still be visible to other players in game and at the load screen. You will have to own a Legacy Skin, however, in order to be able to view it in a champion’s profile. In the event that you’re the owner of a champion with only two skins remaining for purchase following this initiative, don’t worry! These champions have some fantastic new skins in development that we’ll be releasing in the near future.

And so, in preparation for the kickoff of our Legacy Skin Project, we are pleased to announce our most ambitious Black Friday Sale to date. Starting next Friday, the 25th of November and running through midnight Pacific Time on Monday the 28th of November, we will be placing 21 classic League of Legends skins on sale for 75% off! Don’t miss your chance to pick up these awesome skins as they become collector’s items!

Additionally, if you want to pick up one of these highly collectable skins, but don’t yet own the champion in question, we’ll also be offering any champion that sports a prospective Legacy Skin at 20% off for the duration of the sale.

A full list of all 21 skins that will be reduced by 75% before they go into the vault as part of the League of Legends Legacy Skins Project can be found below:
  • Sasquatch Nunu
  • Nottingham Ezreal
  • Blacksmith Poppy
  • Masquerade Evelynn
  • Scuba Gragas
  • Spectacular Sivir
  • Mr. Mundoverse
  • Toxic Dr. Mundo
  • Swamp Master Kennen
  • Hextech Sion
  • Yellow Jacket Shen
  • Red Riding Annie
  • Leopard Nidalee
  • Dragon Knight Mordekaiser
  • Sonoran Kog'Maw
  • Kingpin Twitch
  • Professor Ryze
  • Shamrock Malphite
  • Highland Tryndamere
  • Pharaoh Amumu
  • Badger Teemo
A full list of the champions that will be discounted by 20% during the sale can be found below:
  • Nunu
  • Ezreal
  • Poppy
  • Evelynn
  • Gragas
  • Sivir
  • Dr. Mundo
  • Kennen
  • Sion
  • Shen
  • Annie
  • Nidalee
  • Mordekaiser
  • Kog'Maw
  • Twitch
  • Ryze
  • Malphite
  • Tryndamere
  • Amumu
  • Teemo
But remember that bargains this good only come around once a year! Don’t miss your chance to pick up these collectible Legacy Skins at massively reduced prices during the League of Legends Black Friday Sale this coming Thursday, the 25th of November!

I have been using 9/21/0 and I don't feel like it's a 20 second loss, more of 10-14 seconds. This is for Pheonix Udyr.

Sorta surprised that Dryad Soraka and Freljord Ashe aren't on that list, but Pharaoh Amumu and Scuba Gragas are.

For me the main thing for going 0/21/9 on udyr is picking up all the movespeed masteries and the cc reduction. It boosts udyr's ganks more than the offensive tree stuff even considering the fact that the offensive tree gives higher boosts than the defense tree in general.

I don't have much issue flashing over stuff, but flashing in the open seems to always end up significantly shorter than I expect, which I wouldn't expect 50 range to do.

The camera is tilted on an angle so it messes with your distance judgment. It's why when you look at a skill's range one side is elongated even though in actuality it's the same range all around you. You probably already understand that but that's the explanation for it.

No, that's not what I mean at all. It feels like I go significantly less far than I did before to the point where flashing hardly has an effect in many fights.

the range nerf hasn't really hurt me in a noticable way yet.

however, i've died with flash on 1-50 sec cd a couple of times

wish utility masteries were viable because i am not used to being limited to 1 flash every 4 1/2 minutes

I haven't noticed too much of a difference except this one time I flashed into a wall and died.

The flash distance feels shorter to me, I also seem to be flashing into walls now due to poor judgement. Since I usually judged over walls with optimal distance.

The distance is enough that I can hop the small gap on top river between the tribush and lane. Used to be that if you did it r4ight you ended upright next to the bush if you were in the river, now you just sit still. I want to find a replacement for flash, but I still feel like its very strong at starting fights, especially if you have some form of hard CC.

I have all those skins and none of them are best in slot skin apart from Blacksmith Poppy, everyone else on that list have a better skin in their arsenal. If I were to put on my conspiracy glasses I would just say that it's skins that doesn't sell anymore so they are trying to squeese the last life out of them, in my opinion... (THIS IS BASED ON ZERO FACT IF THAT WASN'T CLEAR) Don't get them. You'll only be tempted to get cool skins making it a wasted investment.

Pharoah mummy and highland trynd are definitely their best skins respectively. Thankfully I just got some RP winnings in so I'm gonna splurge on a couple of those that aren't awful (though most are I guess). Minus whale, rite?

Thanks for the heads up moonbear!

You crazy!? Ph Mummy looks like he has no hands! It looks so silly! Little Knight Amumu owns the game. Also Highlander Trynd in my eyes just looks like an unrefined Viking trynd.

MY OPINION IS LAW
