flat MR glyphs + quints = 27 MR. Though that makes no sense as before Vlad was actually weaker in the earlygame as his cooldowns got buffed.
Well, I've been pretty good at calling things in the past, calling Vlad OP solo top soon ;D

But he's just so good at punishing mistakes while being quite braindead to play (meaning you won't do any skill related mistakes) that it makes him a strong «pick up and play» champion.

They did buff him.
Sion General: Base Mana increased to 240 from 200 General: Mana per level increased to 40 from 25 General: Base Attack Speed increased to .625 from .591 General: Base Movement Speed increased to 320 from 315 General: Now gains 1.25 Magic Resist per level Fixed a bug where Enrage’s Health cost was being subtracted at the wrong time, causing health drain from things like Sunfire Cape
That fixed so many things around sion, especially the mana issues he has (not being able to do more than W+Q and then be oom in lane)

so, just a generalized question for the LoL Pros. I've been running support in our premade 5v5 with reasonable success, though generally running Taric. Our other four people are doing AP Caster mid, AD carry with me in bottom, jungle lee sin, and a tanky dps for solo top. I've been pretty limited in my experience with support champions, but it seems like for an AD heavy team, Taric has the most to provide benefit wise, but I could be completely wrong. Anyone have any other suggestions on support to run with an AD heavy team?

Not so much, as to which support you could run, but if you're running triple AD (ad bruiser top, bruiser jungle, ad carry), you could tell your jungler to get an early aegis and rush a starks fervor yourself to buff them up in team fights.

how is sion a poor AP carry for the midlane? nr1 ability to have in midlane is being able to push the wave AFAP: sion can do that. n2 ability is to be able to burst and possibly disable your opponent so a gank on the safest and shortest lane of all three is fruitfull: sion can do that too. nr3 ability is being mobile enough to assist in ganks around the jungle and other lanes: again sion does this.
he is actually very strong overall mid champion. the only reason he wasnt played so much is a tiny little nerf. comparing him to other burst ap champs:
gragas pushes as fast and has more aoe overall but doesnt have spammable hard disable.
kassadin is more mobile and has 2 very strong disables but pushes much slower.
anivia pushes very fast and has strong disables but she has less mobility and is more bluebuff reliant.
annie has more burst and aoe depending on ultimate but doesnt push as fast and isnt as mobile.
the shield mechanic i wouldnt count as either a positive or negative thing. It can give him both advantages and disadvantages, while certainly it makes him a bit snowbally because of how it scales on him compared to the opponents' farm and abilities.
I don't think any of the ap burst champions brings more than sion without letting something out, so he is a fine, strong champion in the end.

Ok seriously, more mobile? Just how is sion more mobile? Because of the extra 10 movespeed?
Truth is he's a 1v1 melee burster, he doesn't have nearly the AoE most good AP carries do and you seem to love using mobility as a reason despite that making no sense. Also, if Sion is your only AP that's going to be pretty tough for him. Also how about Malzahar, mobility again right?

Are you serious? He has a decent range player based AoE nuke with a 1:1 AP ratio on a 5-6 second cooldown with blue buff which also shields him for a ton of damage as well. He has strong AoE potential.

I'll have to go with LoCi on this one. Lol, 1:1 AP is so insane, can't run can't kill bleh.

I've been buying both, but obviously they are coming later with most of my gold going to wards / elixirs, but that's not a bad idea. We've been dominating team fights pretty consistently, so pushing that advantage further would be even bette.r.

Aegis provides most bruisy junglers (noc, udyr, lee sin, gp hell even the more tankier guys like rammus and skarner) with alot of benefitial stats along with the aura for the team, while as a support, you gain alot of un-needed defensive stats, as you should be playing more passively (taric and alistar not included here). Getting starks and leaving the aegis for your jungler, should be something you wanna use if you have a strong mid-game carry.

Sion's AoE damage is significant, but it isn't quite at the level that many other aoe carries can bring to the table. You can't honestly compare his aoe damage output to, say, anivia's.
That isn't to say that it's shabby, though. Sion rices hard and brings huge aoe burst into early team fights with sub 20 minute deathcaps.

Not gonna lie but Sion's flash stun in combination with a jungler bush ganking top lane is pretty op.
|
Sion is the new Garen. Sit in bush, jump out and burst, wait in bush more because people can't come in to threaten you. So silly in normals, for srs.
|
Nah, Sion's AoE really is not as good as other caster's UNLESS he is fed so much that he can run into the enemy team without getting his shield popped instantly. It's pretty insane during midgame though if he manages to sneak between 5 enemies after the major nukes have been blown.
Other casters don't have to dive the enemy team to put the AoE down, which allows them to hit more targets more consistently.
Anyways, just go 21/0/9 Annie vs Sion, pop shield, auto to death.

Regi made video explaining clearly why Jatt shouldn't have participated in WCG USA, etc, etc... It's too late bro, why didn't you earlier and refused to play a new game bro ?
