Udyr isn't tanky at all because Vayne silver bolts are too strong. If it's that easy then how did CDE trade evenly in the final battle at top when they were down ten thousand gold (easily, probably more). If Regi hadn't gone braindead and hit his R Jax and Vayne would have died and it would have been an even trade and they didn't even fight under the tower. When you're down that much gold and it's that close...I just don't understand how people flipped positions so quickly. At the start of the game Hotshot was raving about how CDE had the perfect teamcomp counter and how Phoenix Udyr and Karthus are going to shit all over Dignitas team which I agree with completely. Then halfway through the game he just completely switches position when CDE is losing cause they're not following Saint's calls. Karthus is so underrated ^_^

So the fact that he's benefited from it in the past voids his right to complain about it now? Riot's tournament organization is fucked. I don't care who's complaining about it, if we're all on the same page about that, it shouldn't matter who you are. Trying to point out Hotshot like this only diverts attention away from the real issue.

So sad, I can't load the official forums. I didn't even really watch the matches, I just wanted to see the drama unfold after Dignitas won.

If you make the right call, you're just doing you're job. If you make the wrong call, then everyone wants your head. That being said, when all you make are bad decisions, he's gonna have to like cure cancer to get any good will now.

While it would be a good medical breakthrough for the world, I don't know if there are people who are willing to give him any sort of break anymore. Personally, I think riot needs to reconsider who's in charge of their esports. Usually it's 3 strikes and you're out, this is about strike 5-6.

Karthus is so underrated ^_^ Farmed Jax was unstoppable in terms of being able to solopush. That's what hotshot meant. In a 5v5 scenario, yeah it's hard to predict how the teamfight will play out, but the fact of the matter is that the game should NOT have gone on to a point where Dignitas had the leeway to let jax freefarm and still come out even in all the teamfights. And Marcou is irredeemable at this point. Giving CDE the win last week was the most obvious call in the world to make if he wanted to be reasonable and logical, and he didn't do it.

I'm pretty sure Marcou's position is, "we need to deliver news that will piss off all of our fans? Put me in coach."

That's the problem, his position shouldn't be as a referee. Why does someone working for the developer have that role? Do you see MLG or GOM crying to Blizzard when there's some sort of rules issue? I don't know how his position evolved into the one it is now, but he's not doing the job that he should be doing, and the job that he is doing is someone else's.

The biggest problem in that game was someone on Dignitas probably going to check on one of the streams of CDE and seeing that they were out of position so they were able to take baron. What I am wondering is why do LoL pro players stream important matches. In SC it has become normal to stream from replays to prevent cheating and many players said that if there was such a risk free way to get information that nobody can ever find out then they would do it. LoL needs to take a page from here and turn off their livestreams for the period of the game. Yes we know that they earn a lot of money from their livestreams and their adds and everyone enjoys watching these streams but they need to make a decision what is more important to them. No replays.

Its not just dignitas taking the win here that is angering the community. Factors such as dignitas being composed of of less than attractive players are also adding fuel to the fire (they dont exactly exemplify the best traits of United States while enforcing negative stereotypes). The anger towards dignitas is undeserved for sure, but its not only the undeserving of the win that's angering an emotionally driven superficial community. The rage will cool off in a few days, the patch will take attention away for sure. I really wished it didnt have to come to this, but in the end, no one wins, everybody looses. CDE looses their trip to korea, team dignitas looses the respect of many, wcg looses sponsors as they see the unorganized mess that came about and riot is left to deal with the rage leftover.

I thought they said that they released replays on the tournament client with spectator mode, guess not. Still they can always upload the first person vods that their stream program can record. Still I don't see why they stream such important matches at all. Even look at the TL Open tournaments, no players who actually see themselves winning stream their matches due to the threat that someone will stream cheat.
