lololol LoL official forums laggy real wcg rules

Well still got Canada to try and carry on the TSM/CLG fight. I don't think combo Canada had teamwork problems, but all their matches seemed really easy so I'm not sure if it could actually show in those games.

Regi and Dyrus both seemed to be barely paying attention to the game. Some very odd plays from both of them. Maybe thats just how they come off or something but neither of them seemed fully engaged.
Edit: actually "barely paying attention" is way too strong. They did seem a bit out of it though.

locodoco telling SV the exact same thing that's being mentioned on this thread ^^

They just fell apart after a strong lead, to bad because i really wanted to see them go to korea, really wish this had been handled correctly in the first place, hard to root for a team that only follows the rules that suit their interests.
|
Dyrus sounds perpetually stoned so that's natural but regi's game was pretty off today
|
Dignitas is going to Korea. Oh yeah!
Why did so many people think that Dignitas had the stronger late game team though? Hotshot was raving the entire game about how farmed Jax was unstoppable when Karthus hardcounters Vayne and Jax. Short range carries can't stand in defile and even if you kill Karthus he's still a zombie. That fight at the top tower at the end when they were down probably 12k gold and still traded evenly if Regi had pressed R is just funny to me.

wait. am i hearing this right? HS is complaining that RIOT/WCG was biased...

Ruling was bad, but well this isn't the time to bitch about that anymore. What's happened has happened; CDE got screwed by the ruling, but even moreso they shot themselves in the foot by being totally not comfortable playing together and listening to calls. I don't know how much practice behind the scenes they had, but it was pretty clear that their teamwork was utterly crap compared to Dignitas.
So yeah, Dignitas wins this. GG.

I think the biggest problem of TSM/CLG/EG/CDE is that there's not one person on each team who is unequivocally the shotcaller. A team needs a guy who will take the responsibility to lead them, someone they can live and die by so that everyone will listen to him and do exactly what he says. It's not like there aren't people on each of those teams who don't have enough game knowledge to do it, it's just that no one actually has a real leadership position. Maybe it's just that no one wants to take the blame for losing, or no one else wants to give up some personal pride in winning, but egos need to be put aside or none of those teams will ever have lasting, consistent success against teams that have a strong leader.
You can play a champion perfectly, you can lane perfectly, but if no one is leading the team, or no one is listening to the leader, then it doesn't matter. Individual skill, while highly touted and important, is secondary to overall strategy and decision making when at the highest levels.

Lategame jax has so much sustain and tankyness that he CAN stand in defile as long as he isn't being CC'd into the ground.

wtf? Vayne just pushes Karthus away, and Jax gets 50+ free MR from his ult, not to mention he 1 shots karthus.
Udyr isn't tanky at all because Vayne silver bolts are too strong.
Also, everyone is really pissed at Matt Marcou

You mean like game two when Saint micromanged the entire team and they dominated?

holy shit i cannot believe that HS is complaining about how RIOT is biased. like holy shit. holy shit.
honestly this is only a taste of what people were feeling in the first WCG and even Alienware when CLG was fucking missing their scheduled matches and Marcou was just babying them through the qualifiers. not to mention RIOT banned finkill and TOO essentially knocking out the other top contenders.
you're shitting me hotshot. you're shitting me.

i wouldnt say riot is biased.
i think they're just stupid.

Maybe it's only situational that they listen to him, idk. But whatever it is, it happens in a lot of games I watch of these American teams, especially when they are losing.

And why shouldn't they be? His decision making ability is laughable. He claims that "We made this decision because WCG Canada played like that", when they didn't even consult WCG Canada at all. If you watched SotL, he was talking about how Canada teams understood the rules and played that way and hotshot was just like, um... no that didn't happen. Basically he made a decision without full information that could have been easily gathered by just talking to one of the players.

i think they're just stupid. no you don't know shit. they're biased as fuck.
when pendragon came onto the forums after the hackedshotgg incident and unconditionally banned OddOne and Finkill? when CLG only had 4 people show up to the scheduled matches and Marcou delayed the entire round to let them get their game in? when Marcou was only answering questions via CLG players (ask him directly he won't respond, ask a CLG player to ask Marcou and you get an answer immediately)?
fuck that shit they're biased.
