The last week or so I randomly get games where my ping is ~100 ms higher than usual, it lasts the whole game and can be gone the next game. It's really random and every game it happens the other people in the game say their ping is higher than usual aswell.

It's the servers, they just don't work very well and at times will give you 100+ms.

Why don't they just make it so you hit Pick a Card and then you can hit QWE for red/blue/gold? Sure, that makes him mechanically easier and we are on a SC site so what the hell am I thinking, but having to wait for the card you want? I don't like it.

If they change it so you can always pick your desired card immediately they should also up the cooldown by a bit to compensate imo (unless Riot is fine with buffing TF). Being able to lock a gold card ~.5 seconds faster is a big deal when the cooldown is only 5 seconds.

How do I carry idiots vs the global gank team comp? The basic combo is nocturne + tf but add a stealther for a hard kick to the balls if you like

I'm not asking how you beat it, exactly (although info on that would be appreciated), just how do you get people to play right vs it? I had two games earlier where I spelled out very clearly early in the game my view on how we could win (sit at tower and farm until our much superior teamfight comps would beat their's) but random players are extremely greedy and they simply fed until the game got completely out of control although I kept the message going. I feel this strat is wrong for low level solo q simply because the players are too poor quality to execute it...

So I need one you can bully/lead even morons into doing.

Really? I have no problems with it whatsoever tbh. The only thing that I don't like is that, it's sometimes quite hard to see which card you are picking in the heat of battle. You either have to struggle to spot it in the middle of a team fight when you should be watching other things, or you have to watch the icon at the bottom, which isn't where you should be looking either.

I've never understood why enemies can see TF's PAC icon. Imagine if every hero had a "I AM CONSIDERING STUNNING YOU SO BE CAREFUL FYI IMO, OR MAYBE I AM JUST WASTING MY ONLY CC ON THESE CREEPS HERE SO GET READY TO JUMP ME RIGHT AFTERWORDS IDK" announcement several seconds before they used their skills.

That and waiting for the card you want, plus picking the wrong color if there's lag, plus you can't autoattack when you've locked a card without wasting your pick... I don't like playing TF at all.

Because annie's stun animation isn't the same? Like every ability has a particle effect at this point.

Uh there are plenty of autoattack enhancing skills and you cannot attack minions with either of those without wasting it. Attacking towers is different though.

You know if annie can stun you or not. You know if taric can stun you or not. Renekton didn't use his stun in the last 10 seconds? Well, he can stun you herpderp. Oh no, anivia's slow moving stun is coming at me. I better step gracefully to the side and completely dodge it. So unfair for anivia players. Should totally not allow other people to be able to see that 5 min travel time.

Like, I find TF's card choosing to be stupid and the qwe solution sounds pretty nice, but actually being able to see which card he chose is never a bad thing in my eyes.

No. You just see he has enough mana for a stun.

I mean, if it didn't display what card he had to everyone, they'd just think "Oh hey tf is moving toward me I bet he's got a gold card imma back off a bit until he attacks something."

Renekton has a particle animation when he activates ruthless predator, iirc. I think his teeth have this green glow to them, like he swallowed a half-life portal.

Considering that TF's stun is one of the lowest cooldown stuns in the game and is carried by someone who usually has the potential to do a lot of damage, I think it's more fair that you can see which card he has picked.

The thing is you usually can see a card coming really easily since TF has to spend a second or two to pick it. Renekton doesn't have to actually activate RP until the instant before he strikes you, if he does it before then he's being a nublet.
