Altough i do not know wether it is intended to work that way or if it is a bug.
If your quest doesn't pop up you can just instant quit a casual game for it to pop up so you aren't wasting a game

Restarting the client a few times can work too.

Is it worth it to disenchant a Gruul for dust to get something like a Big Game Hunter or to save for a different legendary like Sylvanas Windrunner?
|
Don't take this as flame against the hunter deck, but I feel it's not UTH that's giving me most trouble... it's the traps (+ Eaglehorn). So, what's the best general way to play against early traps? Especially if your deck runs 3/2 two-drops. You can't rush him down early, because explosive trap and your minions die. You can't go one by one, because he snipes them off with Eaglehorn. You can't wait it out, because he'll just charge you down.

You can't wait it out, because he'll just charge you down. because this is so prevalent, i added two ooze to my priest deck. if i dont have an ooze, i dont trigger the traps, i control the board (with max 2-3 minions to prevent strong UTH) and wait for ooze to trigger. i heal up my hero since the hero abilities cancel out.
with my druid, i didnt bother to add oozes. i just control the board with 2-3 minions and get a taunt out there to prevent the charge minions. then i heal up, use hero ability (lessens his hero ability to only one damage).
i actually have a pretty high win rate against the hunters. biggest trouble people have is they trigger the traps while the bow is equipped and give it more durability.

Best to keep your legendaries , you never know when you might need them ^_^
I wouldnt disenchant a legend to make a epic like BGH, unless you ABSOLUTELY needed it now.
I might be tempted to disenchant the Gruul to get a legend i want, like sylvanas.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, new to the game D:
I read this beginner's guide + Show Spoiler +http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=424 which said to "wait until you reach the "3 star master" rank" in constructed if you want to do well in arena. I didn't know what "3 star master rank" meant so I looked it up here + Show Spoiler +http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Play_mode which says there are now 25 different ranks named after in game minions.
What exactly is "3 star master rank"? Is it equivalent to any of the 25 minion ranks? Would you also recommend attaining this rating before grinding arena?

read this too before doing aarena:

Let's say you have a Warsong Commander on the board and you play a Youthful Brewmaster.
What happens, does it give the Youthful Brewmaster Charge or not?
|
Complete newbie here not only to Hearthstone, but to CCGs in general, so, yeah, this question is pretty simple: You can put one or two cards of the same type in a deck. I looked around for some good custom decks, and I've noticed that pretty much all of the suggested decks have mostly two cards of the same type in a deck. Take this as a random example: Only two single (non-legendary) cards in the deck, otherwise it's always pairs.
What's the reason for this? Is it so that a deck is less "random", since the chance of getting a given card is greater? Does that really outweigh the drawback of having (much) less variety in a deck?

Does anyone have Kripps shaman decklist? It looks hilariously fun to play

Is the word "theorycraft" meant only for Starcraft, or can it be (properly) used for other games?

No, it won't have charge. The battlecry of the creature you currently played will trigger before anything else on the board, for example, secrets or the special effects on other minions.

Me personally has seen this term in multiple other games, especially games which allow for in-depth customization, so I think it is save to assume that it is a general term. (Games I have seen this word used frequently in include World of Warcraft, Path of Exile and Mechwarrior Online).

Now that I think about it, it may not have originally been a StarCraft term...
Does anybody know if it was in fact originally a StarCraft term?

2 questions:
1: Whenever i get 12 wins i get one sick pack, this has only happend three times, two for me and one time for my friend. but it seems like if u do great in arena u get better packs? In all 3 cases the pack contained 1 legendary (black knight, al akir windlord and the beast) 2 epics, 1 rare. i only took a screenshot when it happend to me again last night.
The 12 win pack
So when u do good in arena u get better packs? seems random, but when it happend 3/3 times i couldnt let it go.
2: How do i get my stream on the Liquidhearth.com page. My stream is shown on teamliquid.net under the Hearthstone category, but not on liquidhearth.com.

My stream is shown on teamliquid.net under the Hearthstone category, but not on liquidhearth.com. my best packs have been when i did horrible in arena. i recently went 3-3 and received a legendary and epic; my last legendary deck was a similarly dismal arena run. my best arena run (8-3) did not land me a good pack--i don't think there was anything above rare. i think your run is irrelevant to your pack; its just like buying a 100 gold pack.

+ Show Spoiler +
Thats what i thought too (packs contain random cards, only 1 rare guaranteed) but I dont believe its a coincidence that i got awesome packs 3/3 times when going 12 wins in arena, and never when i dont do great in arena.

Well it is a coincidence. I am playing a lot of arena and don't notice any difference between my 12 and 0 wins. Besides you think they would bother to program a little extra so that the game could see a difference between a 0 pack a 12 pack and a store pack? They are all jumbled together on the "open packs" screen. I have seen many people who ask "is low win packs better then high win packs? I just wnet 0-3 and got a golden legendary 2 epics and 2 golden rares" it is simply variance.

Im convinced! ty for the replies guys
