More specifically, at the end of a stressful day, what helps you unwind and just puts you at ease? For me - I'm not sure. I don't think that I'm a happy person at all, really, just someone who goes through the motions of living life as I should. Each day is just.. another day until I die. Maybe I can get some ideas from you guys on how to make these days bearable until I do. Have you tried setting for yourself some worthwhile, long-term goals?

If it's any comfort, I find it's a fairly common malady for students who are set to graduate to fall into a contemplative rut about their next steps. Transition points are never easily navigated, regardless of the endeavor.

My suggestion, do the unexpected, even if you fear it, since it's the most rewarded afterwards.

Reading more of what you wrote, I had a couple other thoughts. It seems like you might need to do something drastic to get out of your rut. Not necessarily drastic in action, but drastic in change of.. viewpoint, I guess? Like... it sounds as if you're kindof stuck being used to being a certain way, and you might need to force yourself to break out of it. All this takes, though, is just that... force of will.. Just make yourself be determined not to take the mediocrity any more, and you will have succeeded. Have some faith that you will have a great life, and make yourself believe it.. I don't think I'm making much sense, and I'm sorry. I guess I'm just saying will yourself to have some passion, even if not for anything in particular, and I think that will help you break out of your lull. Now, this may be easier to do if it is accompanied by something drastic in action as well... Such as, like I said before, I had to force myself to stop wavering and go for something. Well, part of this was that I decided to take a trip to Ireland. I said to myself "Fuckit! I'm going to go to Ireland, damnit! I don't care if I only have a plane ticket and arrive on the ground broke with nothing, I'm going to go and there's nothing that can stop me!" Everyone thought I was crazy for going without any plans or hostel reservations or anything, but I did it anyways. Now, I'm not saying this is revolutionary or anything, but what happened is that by forcing myself into a completely different experience, I was taken out of my norm, and that allowed me to make some decisions that I was too uncertain to make while I was in my comfort zone. Okay, I'm still not sure I made any sense in that, but hopefully at least I've given you something more to consider. Also, on an unrelated note: [QUOTE]On November 07 2007 06:30 fgsvsd wrote: [url=http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/2470/lmaotlnetgg7.png]Fortuities like this. ![]() ROFLOL!! Also, Ketchup and eggs are the bomb, yo. Or, a variation, omlette with salsa, is even better.
