-The sound of snow, walking in the snow or waking up to snow. -Listening to my favorite music, new or revisiting old albums that bring memories. -Giving a gift to someone I love or care about. Honestly one of the greatest feelings ever. -Having some drinks with friends. I prefer house parties or going to the bars with a group. -Seeing a hyped movie with a group or viewing one of my favorites with a small group. -Waking up next to the person you love. Holding the person you love. -Deep and meaningful talks. Recently had one with 2 Iraq veterans. Talked politics/religion/ethics and it seriously had me on cloud 9. -Dogs. I own a black lab and 2 english bull dogs. Lou, Hank and Cokey. WOW they are amazing. -Thrill of competition. Winning WCG USA was amazing reminded me of the intense adrenaline I would feel during football games.

I was happy as fuck when I qualified for world cyber games in 2004, that's for sure. you shouldn't criticize others for having an easier time finding happiness than you.. I also become happy from making others happy though. that's one of the best things I do. ![]() name one thing in this world that CANT make you happy, I'll add 99 words next to it and it will sound like you're wrong.

Well, I skimmed through the responses after all. Reading more of what you wrote, I had a couple other thoughts. It seems like you might need to do something drastic to get out of your rut. Not necessarily drastic in action, but drastic in change of.. viewpoint, I guess? Like... it sounds as if you're kindof stuck being used to being a certain way, and you might need to force yourself to break out of it. All this takes, though, is just that... force of will.. Just make yourself be determined not to take the mediocrity any more, and you will have succeeded. Have some faith that you will have a great life, and make yourself believe it.. I don't think I'm making much sense, and I'm sorry. I guess I'm just saying will yourself to have some passion, even if not for anything in particular, and I think that will help you break out of your lull. Now, this may be easier to do if it is accompanied by something drastic in action as well... Such as, like I said before, I had to force myself to stop wavering and go for something. Well, part of this was that I decided to take a trip to Ireland. I said to myself "Fuckit! I'm going to go to Ireland, damnit! I don't care if I only have a plane ticket and arrive on the ground broke with nothing, I'm going to go and there's nothing that can stop me!" Everyone thought I was crazy for going without any plans or hostel reservations or anything, but I did it anyways. Now, I'm not saying this is revolutionary or anything, but what happened is that by forcing myself into a completely different experience, I was taken out of my norm, and that allowed me to make some decisions that I was too uncertain to make while I was in my comfort zone. Okay, I'm still not sure I made any sense in that, but hopefully at least I've given you something more to consider. Also, on an unrelated note:
On November 07 2007 06:30 fgsvsd wrote: Fortuities like this. ![]() ROFLOL!! Also, Ketchup and eggs are the bomb, yo. Or, a variation, omlette with salsa, is even better.
Heh, to be honest, I think that this is great advice. I've followed it several times before. Usually drastic actions on my part though, is an escape from the norm, which ultimately means that it brings me back to where I was before this drastic action. I've traveled a bit during college, I moved out to Korea after graduating the first time around. While there, I met a boy and followed him out to where ever he lived (at the time) when I got back to the States. I can BE drastic, but that doesn't necessarily, again, mean that I am happy after I do. Even though I have no money, I will on a drop of a dime, take weekend trips just to get away from everything that I had built up in my current position. The idea of taking a huge trip is wonderful, but currently, I don't have the means or the time. Maybe that's one reason I feel suffocated. But that's another matter. Now, your point on having a drastic change in will makes sense, but how does one will themselves to a different outlook? Or will themselves to having passion? Passion, for me, anyway, is something that is innate I can't just MAKE it happen. God, I really am pessimistic. /wrists.
