i remember failing a test because i had a caffeinated cola the night before. while the other guys who were smoking weed passed theirs because they flushed their system with water when they found out there was going to be a test the next morning

In my opinion, if you're taking adderal or any other amphetamine-derivative you're basically a sub-human.
Call me biased but that's just my opinion. I've taken amphetamine once (I'm no stranger to various drugs) and I've said to myself - never again.
It's just my opinion though. No concern for alarm.

Well, it's a really strong opinion! Drugs affect users differently, so it might not be wise to make a generalization based on how it affected you specifically. Actually, to talk about this, back when this post was originally made I had been on adderall for about 3 years. In 2011 I went off of adderall. In 2017 I went back on it. The second stint was a horrible decision for me, I no longer needed the help, but the first stint is not something I regret - I feel like it was really helpful in my development as a person.

My friend started vaping marijuana because someone told him it's not harmful. Just for having fun. Yes, he started doing that more and more often. I started worrying. Read hundreds of articles on the Internet. I talked to him, but nothing helped. He says I should not worry. He can stop at any time. I don't believe in that. Read some articles also on AddictionResource about different rehab centers. Maybe I'm crazy, but I really don't consider this to be a funny habit.

I don't know about relations between doctors and patients in the usa but If you want a doctor to be able to truly help you then you should give him all information about your condition. The doctor needs it for a good diagnosis and the information is confidential.
You should have told your doctor in advance if you want help with problems,unless all you want is an aderall prescription for your addiction lol. But that is not what doctors are for.

Personal circumstances differ certainly. I’m on meds myself. I think personally from an outside perspective it’s not any individual‘s medicating habits that I find disturbing but how blasé and widespread Americans are about popping x pill culturally.
I was in psychiatric hospital for nearly a year and have had casual conversations where Americans ream off a bunch of medications they take for, no diagnosed condition whatsoever than what I take for Bipolar disorder under quarterly monitoring and blood tests.
