I can't watch the stream, unfortunately This is the wrong question to ask imo. Part of the problem with this type of testimony is that people create in their mind an image of how they expect a sexual assault victim to act, and if they dont meet that standard then they doubt the accuser. I think most people would agree she has been credible. Fox news anchors even agreed. Chris's voice was almost breaking talking about it, so, he seems convinced.

I didn’t even know mayo was the majority domain of the whites. guess i have to start reading more alex jones. Well it's about the color of the mayo and not the user group. And of course when you call someone a name there has to be some sort of resemblance to the item you're calling him. That doesn't make it racist in the least. I've heard multiple (black) comedians do bits about mayonnaise, and usually the joke was based on the notion that it's a "white people" food (bland, boring), only white people eat it, or that only white people even know what it is. I've never thought of it in the context of a racist epithet, but thinking about it in that light, I could see calling a white person mayonnaise being in a similar category to calling a black person a monkey (though with significantly less painful history associated with it).

If you call someone, specifically, "He's like mayonnaise," you are commenting on their character. If you call a black person a "monkey" you're being racist. There is no equivalent. Brent Kavanaugh is mayonnaise. Remarking to his personality/character. Kanye West is a monkey. Remarking on his blackness or racial insinuation that he is less than human. I have only been reading this thread for the hearing. I don't feel particularly motivated to watch that train wreck.

If not, why did you rule they are?" I think he's shitting his pants right now seeing how much they focus on the polygraph. He must know that his verdict around polygraphs will come up. Oy.

My uncle didn't like the term but then something happened and when we looked at each other, he knew he wanted to say it but couldn't. So we laughed. There are terms used as jokes or apt descriptors of people that can be said without it devolving into a racist insinuation. Mayonnaise is one of those terms.
