I've been seeing this story being pushed on under-moderated subreddits:
https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/who-is-sasha-riley-and-why-is-alleged-epstein-survivors-testimony-audio-going-viral/ar-AA1U8Yxy
The story claims that Trump was one of the ring leaders, that he raped boys including this alleged victim and that who's who of the worse Trump sycophants are also pedophiles who rape boys.
The story is mainly supprted by a series of interviews conducted by someone who is not an actual reporter with someone no one ever heard about before and the timeline of the accusations and alleged cases of rape doesn't fit with the ages and positions these people were in at the time.
To me, it also doesn't fit with the more logical narrative of Epstein and CO being into young girls and it's the first time that boys are being mentioned.
The writing on the actual story is also pretty bad, it states that the victim should be believed and that actual evidence (including videos, FBI indictments etc.) exists but they didn't provide it.
To me, this seems like a RW psyop so they can claim that "this is what the left is pushing and believe" so they can pretend like the actual Epstein story is also bullshit.
Just like the "one of us all of yours" story which started by a post from (I think that's how it started) Tom Morello and got picked up by reddit and other socials and spread, without verifying as facts, up to the point where when it was re-iterated here it was "Nazis killed 5000 people" despite the actual village massacre numbers being in the low hundreds, pushing this shit just discredits actual calling out of these ghouls.
I guess what I'm trying to say is be careful, check the facts, don't jump on shit because you are playing into their hands, we have to hold ourselves to much higher standards then they do for themselves, otherwise they can just say "see, we are the same" and that's been the calling card of Right Wingers convincing the public to be apathetic forever.

Trump has been threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act in response to rising tensions between protesters and federal personnel in Minneapolis.
“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
His warning came just hours after a federal officer shot a man in the leg after an attempted traffic stop in Minneapolis on Wednesday night. Protests against federal immigration operations exploded after the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross earlier this month.

Trump finally got his Nobel peace prize, all it took was coercing the democratically elected leader of Venezuela after snatching its dictator in the night.
Republicans must be so proud of this man, really being a beacon of freedom to the world.

Question is: Should people act scared and stop/be "peaceful" (read: non-disruptive) as their politicians demand or keep disrupting the fascists enacting fascism?

They're keeping members of the local native tribe in the first white settlement in minnesota until the tribe comes to an immigration agreement with ICE and the field commander is on his full SS greatcoat cosplay. They think that they're going to break us with more and more brutality and violence, but we have existed through the long nights of winter and we will endure this cold spell like any other.
I'm not going to forgive the people who helped bring this day to pass. We know things are going to get worse and I don't give a fuck anymore.

Recent events in the US are now starting to spill over. 25k people have cancelled their FIFA World Cup tickets as they're afraid to come to the US.

Same. I've made peace with this whole experiment being over. It is regrettable that we ended up here and I genuinely would have chosen to just elect McCain or Romney rather than Obama if I knew it would lead to this. The resentment and anger was just so much more than I ever would have expected.
What I think people on the left are not realizing, even still: The right wing was way, way, way, way more resentful and angry than was often talked about. There was a concentrated effort by leadership of both parties to try to minimize the situation as it really was. They hoped they could deal with it more subtly. I think we can all look back now and see that.
The excitement for what ICE is doing is not because our aunts and uncles aren't seeing the same news we see. They might not see all the bad that we do, but they definitely get the idea. They don't mind because they see it as a long time coming. They see it as a necessary tragedy of war the same way they view nuking Japan as a necessary tragedy of war.
Its not a matter of helping our extended family MAGA folks understand what is happening. They won't turn their backs on Trump and ICE once they realize what's really happening. They already get it. It may be difficult to understand why they are unbothered, but they are genuinely unbothered.

I doubt Canada or Mexico can hold the world coming to their countries as well as the US could have.

Obama wasn’t even that black. Like if you look at a photo of him next to people from sub Saharan Africa he’s very light skinned. Should have gone with Barry from Chicago and had him identify as white.

Something the populist right have always understood is that you convince people based on what they care about. Trump won the first time because of targeted ads. Someone likes guns, talk gun rights. Worried about the economy, talk about the deficit. Can't afford groceries, talk inflation. The populist left usually just go with what they think everyone should like. The left in general just push issues they feel are important.
You can't convince your pro-iCE aunt that it's bad. You can maybe convince her the system could work better but it's a lot of work that will change very little. But maybe she has health issues? Then talk insurance premiums instead. You can't get a Trump voter to switch sides based on your issues but you might if you talk about their issues. Use "your" issues to galvanize the base instead.

I have a hard time telling if this is american exceptionalism, sarcasm or just a profound lack of knowledge that the WC is usually run by a single country.

I think, given time to prepare, Mexico would be perfectly capable of hosting the 2026 World Cup, but half a year is not the time needed.
In any case, with how bro-y Infantino and Trump are, there's no way FIFA allows the World Cup to not happen in the US. This may just be your 1936 Berlin Olympics moment.

This WC has by far the most expensive tickets ever, they'll just resell the cancelled ones, maybe for a little less but still more than anywhere else. 2018 WC was in Russia after the Salisbury poisoning and while they were cracking down on "gay propaganda". The average person isn't very politically conscious, the WC in the US will go fine, I doubt we're gonna see many empty seats.
