Do not take medication to alleviate your headache, because drinking + pills in such a short time takes a serious toll on your liver. As for food - omelette with bacon - you need fatty stuff right now, bacon is perfect, eggs contain cysteine, which makes your body get free from poisonous stuff, helps with alcohol, too ![]() EDIT : Also, fresh veggies make the omelette tastier, and also contain B-vitamins which help immensely, too ![]() Ayran is a type of buttermilk The reason you get a hangover is because you are so dehydrated, so hydrating yourself is the best way to get over it. drink lots and lots of water and juice, not coffee or soda, as those also dehydrate you.

If you get hungry: french fries, eggs, sausage, bacon, slice of bread and thats it.

Only time I ever eat/want/crave bacon is when I'm hung over because there's just something about it. Bacon double cheeseburger at burger king with a medium sprite and fry does the trick if you want a referral =P. Just make sure you eat slow and either wait to drive home after or drive home first. I got car sick once, I don't know if it was cause of the hangover or bad food, but just to be safe. Getting car sick while driving sucks =\

If I simply happen to pass out, I generally feel better eating some type of greasy food, with bread product as a component.

If you come back with "I can't afford the better stuff but I want to get drunk" then let me know what you would be drinking IF you had more money to spend on booze and I'll buy some. is that for everybody or just danmooj?

I dont see how "better" stuff decreases hangover symptoms. Dehydration is dehydration, I can buy grey goose or I can buy BOSS, drinking either wont change a thing. If you dont want a hangover stay away from caffiene and sugary beverages. In the end, as long as you drink alot of water it just wont be as bad. I second Vietnamese pho for best hangover food. Lots of water to hydrate yourself, lots of good wholesome food.

Even more better, drink a bunch before you go to sleep and your hangover will be way less then it would otherwise. There's been times I drank 15 whisky shots in a night, but because I was also drinking gatorade most the time I didn't even wake up with a hangover. Other times I won't and I'll have 3 crown and cokes and feel shitty the next morning(yea, I'm kinda lightweight when it comes to getting hungover which is why I do above) On August 11 2011 08:03 Phayze wrote: I dont see how "better" stuff decreases hangover symptoms. Better quality alcohol supposedly has less impurities.
