They just take a tarantula and fry it they dont even remove the bristly hairs, i ended up eating several of the legs and the whole abdomen (managed to pass the head off to someone else). Tried not to think to much of what was in the abdomen i was eating such as what the spider had been eating previously or all the web and shit in there.

It's newly killed so the suction cups still work. Gotta be careful to chew it, though. Yeah, I choked on one of those things! Can't say I eat weird food, I think the octopus is the weirdest.

My friend has tried fresh octopus once. He told me that it was really good and I'd probably enjoy it. He's also eaten spiders on several different occasions. He says that they don't taste to bad you just have to not think about what you're actually putting into your mouth. That being said I would probably eat a spider if it was cooked and didn't look to spidery XD

You should try eating balut or century egg plain, the flavor and smell is pronounced. Its an acquired taste but raw monkey brain is just wrong. :/ edit: Eating chicken hearts is one but gizzards seems to be a staple in many countries.

It doesn't taste like chicken at all... I tried snake, duck blood (similar to the pork blood OP described), jellyfish, sea cucumber. Weirdest stuff I tried was caterpillar fungus (冬虫草). It's kind of fungus that lives in the ground. It can infect big caterpillars, germinate in them, kill and mummify them. Then it grows out of the body of the mummified caterpillar. edit : poster above me reminded me of century eggs. I hate too see an egg with blueish green yolk. Also I see many people posting chicken gizzard as weird food, I don't find it weird at all ^^

I've eaten really really fresh and raw seafood in Jeju, Korea. The sashimi was excellent. You could tell it'd just been pulled from the tank and that it had been caught very, very recently. The sea slugs and mussels still moving on the plate, though, not so much. I couldn't handle that and didn't eat it. Our tour guide called me a bitch, rofl.
