So does crocodile :D I'm a very picky eater so I've only gone as far as croc. All the silly seafood stuff is not for me...blegh

I remember we visited an ostrich farm here a couple years ago with my school. The ostrich sausage was nice

I used to eat Rocky Mountain oysters all the time while living in Denver, CO. They are a little chewy but not bad. For those that don't know, they are deep fried bull's testicles. Yum.
I was born in Scotland and was fed a lot of haggis as a kid. Probably why my butt is so hairy as an adult :-/
Haggis seems to have a notorious sort of wrap since it is not common to use the entire 'pluck' of an animal is sausage, but when you think about most sausage it is pretty tame. Do you guys realize how they make chicken nuggets for McDonald's? Haggis is tame compared to that.

I do a lot of mission trips so ive seen and been to multiple countries and the top are:
Ecuador- Qui. It's a wild rodent in the mountains, it's basically a huge guinea pig. Tasted a lot like salty jerky
Thailand- live scorpion (no real taste other than salt and very crunchy) and durian which needs no explanation unless you've never been to southern Asia.

Probably sharkfish. It was actually rather tasteless white meat but that may just have been the cook messing it up.

Some very interesting foods in this thread. Being born and raised in Toronto, there really isn't anything too exotic that I've eaten. My brother who is more adventurous has eaten or tasted a lot of the "weird" things you can find downtown or in the "Little" towns (e.g. Chinatown, Little Italy, etc.). I don't personally find these things weird, but he's eaten stuff like shark fin soup, chicken feet, frog legs, snails, etc.
My Greek background has been exposed to some strange recipes though - lamb soup made with as many organs as you can fit in the pot, fried chicken livers, small fish with bones intact, etc.

my appetite is lost after the monkey brain video... about to eat lunch too T_TT

+ Show Spoiler +pulp fiction ftw He's french, this may be funnier than you initially thought.
Weirdest thing i've had is either squid or cow tongue. Nothing special really i'd LOVE to try so many things in this thread. Have never been a picky eater fortunately :p.

Had cow tongue
shashimi geoduck![[image loading]](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3231/2748901918_ab048afc37.jpg) I had it's sexual organs cut out and sliced gossamer thin was nice
a whole pig boiled in some really sour picked veg. not sure whats that. Having the eyeball stare at you as you eat the cheek is unnerving.

Hakarl - Fermented Shark's meat that smells like ammonia (while in iceland)
From my understanding it was something that was eaten in Medival times, and which people still eat every once in a while for some sort of historical reason. Its also supposed to be consumed with liquour as a follower...which I unfortunately did not have at the time.
edit: just realized it was discussed earlier but I didnt catch it the first time.

raw Tuna eye's in Japan
kinda nasty not gunna do it again but I was offered them by the family i was staying with and I wanted to be polite.

Bat Soup, like literally there was a whole bat in my soup boil, I was a pussy pretty much just drank the soup and had like 1 bite of the meat.
|
Emu , Kangaroo (They sell it in the supermarkets here).... Nothing that starnge really. Kangaroo has a very high iron content and you can taste that in the meat , it's certainly not my favourite red meat out there.
