I think thats the beauty of it. We ge to see how I think ridiculous western culture is in regards to eating. We rarely see where our food comes from, nor eat things that resemble food. I would much prefer to eat a fried locust, a real thing, rather than a mcdonalds hamburger or that liquid cheese at baseball stadiums.

I love intestine, sounds so gross in English though. We call it yahng. I don't think I could ever ever ever eat insects.

hm well not really all that weird but, bone marrow from sheep :D kinnda liked it when i was younger, now im just disguisted by the thought of just eating it haha

yeah eating fish alive was my strangest i guess

Stuffed aubergine probably. I didn't like it. Maybe it shows my dullness in culinary adventures.

Probably fish eyes... it tastes amazing.
|
probably grapevine snail
snail
It's not that weird in germany but for other countries it might be?

I dont think I have eaten anything weird ever. Maybe reindeer tongue is something that could be considered somewhat exotic? Or reindeer blood+wheat flour balls?

And about squid: I ate fresh squid once, they only removed the bill and other stuff that is hard to eat, the rest was left alone. Was extremely weird in the beginning to eat a tentacle with the suckers still on, just because I wasn't used to it. But when I got behind the initial shock I was pleasantly surprised, it was so tender...amazing!
€ One thing many people could find weird is a meal called "Schwarzsauer" in Germany. I don't think there is a translation for it. It is not common here anymore, I ate it at my great grandma once. It is a kind of soup that basically consists of a huge amount of swine blood and meat garbage with a few spices, and was a way of recycling what you had left over after slaughtering back in the days.
Spartans ate it too :p

I dont want to be... em... discusting or anything but.... If we factor in sex, i think everything gets crushed to the ground.
(Even kissing exchanges over 500 bacteria in an instant :D)

(Even kissing exchanges over 500 bacteria in an instant :D) I can live with 500 bacteria, that's like the same as no bacteria.
Hmmm probably fresh sashimi, This guy in Japan he cuts the sashimi off the fish alive and the fish can still swim after the sashimi has been made, a true baller of the kitchen knife

Food bought an english supermarket was probably the weirdest food I ever ate.

Reindeer blood and tongue is really weird, even tho reindeer blood pancakes taste amazing. The only places i can think of where you drink and eat reindeer blood is in lapland/lappi.
anyways, the weirdest things i've eaten are fermented herring and reindeer blood pancakes.

I ate something from Arby's once. I don't know what it was, I woke up in a cold sweat for a week afterwards, having nightmares that I was eating Arby's again.

Hard one... I don't know, probably chicken hearts, my grandmother tends to put them in soup sometimes. Not really a fan of it, but if you think about it it's not really different from, liver for example (which is fucking awesome!).

I was in Beijing and Hong Kong last year, walking through the markets the fish was so fresh that you could see the heart still beating in the freshly butchered fish!
