Japanese Pickled Squid.
Recipe = Squid + salt + sun = Rotten squid in a bowl
Unsurprisingly wasn't the tastiest thing I've eaten.

When I lived in China I tried these. I also had some camel and cat. I used to live in the Middle East, and I kind of developed a taste for Camel, it isn't bad when it is prepared properly. I think the weirdest food I have ever eaten is Gopher. I got plastered one night, and my friend and I decided to catch and cook some gophers. Here are some pictures for proof. We didn't actually catch the Gophers until the next day, so we were both sober in these pictures. I did the evisceration, which was pretty similar to cleaning a really small rabbit. ![]() ![]() ![]()

brains, hooves, stomach, lungs, eyeballs, whole heads even of cows and sheep and goats. Chicken heads, feet, intestines, hearts, well pretty much everything on a chicken exept for the feathers. Even bones are chewed into powder like substance. Some eat cats, dogs, and even baboon meat which share most of our dna but it is ironically for most of them a sin to eat pork because its 'dirty meat'. Some of its pretty good though. Other weird things ive eaten are mopane worms (fat beetle larvae) locusts, buffalo, giraffe, snake and camel. Also if you ever get offered warthog, koedoe (kudu) or rooibok (red buck) jerky or biltong as its called here, do yourself a favour and just try it. You will literally eat that shit till your jaw hurts. So good!

You can actually replicate the yolk flavor almost 90% with avacado and soy sauce. Try it out, the texture is so similar as well.

Among the things I have eaten: Grilled Dog Pig Blood pudding Pig Blood stew Hooves Deer Pheasant Pigeon Testicles Squid innards Goats Eyes Pretty much every single bit of Lamb/Goat/Chicken/Pork/Beef including brain a couple times. Camel Burger/Curry/Steak Scorpion A couple types of worms, forget which types they where. Grilled Rat Rat meat rice cake Bone Marrow broth Ants Friend bugs or various sorts. Balut. Which is an egg that has started to grow a chicken inside. So there is a little bit of blood/guts/meat/feet/beak and even a feather or two inside the egg, but most of it is still the raw egg stuff you get in a normal egg, with a developing embryo. A lot of horrible combination of normal ingredients. Example, one thing I quite like is Vanilla Sponge cake, with cheese and Mayonnaise lol. Curry Coffee, no seriously, it has curry in it. Apple pie with curry sauce, that's quite nice. That's all I can think of for now. I've eaten loads of other things lol. I am willing to try anything once, and I wouldn't turn my nose at food unless I've given it a fair chance. I've only puked once eating a food, and that was a tin of Delmonte Plumed Tomatoes lmao! I f***ing hate plumed tomatoes, they make me want to puke. I can eat a brin stew, top with testicles and a Balut to wash it down, but I couldn't eat a plumed tomato.

I usually am not ridiculously exploratory with food, so I've still never tried stuff like sweetbreads (cow's brain iirc for those that don't know)
