Mix the cheeses together (grate the cheddar and parmasean), and then stir the bread crumbs and melted butter together, using it to make a thin layer over the top of the mac. Bake it at 350º, while boiling up some tomato soup. When it's done baking, add the soup and stir. Voila! I edited my original post with these instructions. How long do you bake the noodles with the cheese+ingredients?

That said, try adding some other cheese that you like. Like for me, I add two slices of American cheese - makes it thicker and tastes really good. Try some Parmesan too. Add some broccoli too, that could be good.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/557817/great_onedish_meals_with_kraft_mac.html + Show Spoiler + Kraft - Mac and Cheese Soup 2 boxes Kraft Mac and Cheese 2 cups of diced ham 1 bell pepper 1 onion chopped 2 cans stewed tomatoes 1 ½ cups extra sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup of Colby cheese 1 quart V-8 Juice This is such an easy meal to make; in a skillet, sauté the bell pepper and the onions. Boil your macaroni and drain. Put the macaroni back in the pot. Add the cheese flavoring that comes in the Kraft Mac and Cheese box. Add in the V-8 juice. Add the onions and peppers, and the stewed tomatoes and ham. Now as the mixture begins to boil drop in all the cheese and let it melt. Your meal is done. That is it! It is great left over too! My daughter will eat it cold! Serve with Texas Toast and you have a complete meal. Here is another way I fix Kraft Mac and Cheese. This is for baked macaroni and cheese. This is also easy and quick to do. Kraft - Baked Mac and Cheese Casserole 2 boxes Kraft Mac and Cheese 1 bell pepper 1 onion 1 egg 1 can of Carnation Evaporated Milk 1 ½ cups sharp Vermont cheddar cheese 1 cup Colby cheese Parmesan cheese (how much you want) ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg http://www.facebook.com/kraftmacaroniandcheese?v=app_7146470109 http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1835,150164-233206,00.html http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1843,150165-232206,00.html

Some other people in this thread have recommended that so apparently it does have some credibility.

Or make the cheese sauce from real cheese instead of using the powdered crap - though honestly, if you're going this far, you might want to be looking at making mac&cheese from scratch.

Think I'm going to try mixing in meat & actual cheese and tone down the butter. I'll also probably try making the soup that igotmyown suggested or the chili thing someone else suggested. If I can't make it taste better for me, I always have the option of dumping all of it onto my brother =] That's what oppas are for, eating the crap that you don't like.
