Yeee no. Hermetized food takes way more than 2 years to go bad. Ive eaten (canned) army rations that were 40 years old, and they were fine. Most countries there is a law that says that any food can not have a expiration date later than x. In Norway I think its 1 year. By the time your canned food supply goes bad, you will have your own garden, unless you get zombified, or you are a major cock.

if it was the second option I actually would try to stick it out. My goal would be to head north, my logic is I don't think they are smart enough to put winter coats on.

- People in small towns (not suburbs, but small towns). - People who live up north and are avid hunters and are athletic. - People in prisons. - People high up within the government. - Non-MP or lower level military personnel. - People who have access to a boat/major marine-way. - People on the space station : P. Most Zombie movies seem to follow a theme in terms of who survives (at least from the few that I have seen). It is usually small towns, prisoners or police officers and very avid gun enthusiasts. I think living in the city is an easy way to die in a Zombie apocalypse, seeing as the area is easy to get trapped in due to the maze-like tendencies cities tend to have and the amount of people. To be honest, coming from a small town myself, it would be VERY easy to survive. - Avid hunter, access to weapons. - LOW population in surrounding area (about 100 people). - Temperatures here are cold for 6 months of the year, so if it is true most zombie's freeze, thats a plus. - Actively fit and capable. - I know the area here (bush, lakes, rocky terrain) better than almost anyone. After I established a safe haven I could camp out at each night, and a solid routine where I knew no zombies could track me. I would probably go around looking for survivors in my area, and help build a safe area for many people. Then move to the larger cities.

Yeah, but I didn't feel like opening an entirely new thread to see whether people would actually have the balls to do this when the zombies could move more than .00000001 MPH... Not that I would even do it if the zombies couldn't since I live in NYC.

Don't tell someone they are wrong before doing your research or you just look like an ass ![]() I honestly don't know about the other ones, but pop (or soda for some of you) does not (in my experience) eat through the can. I have had a case of pop sitting in my room for almost a year now. 100% fine. No signs of slowing down either. Besides, who cares about pop. It is ridiculously easy to get a good water filter. Go raid MEC or any decent camping supply store. Go get iodine tablets, start a damn fire and boil the water.. As for food, if you can outlast canned food going bad (If it even does go bad after 1-2 years) and you don't have a semi-successful garden....you are screwed anyway. Id be more concerned about surviving waves of hungry zombies, than worrying about canned food, etc. I think what I really want to say with this is, dude...if you and I are both alive when a zombie apocalypse happens, you are on your own.

Granted. I think if I "had" to live in the world it would definitely be adventurous and I hope I could last a while living in that world in such odd conditions.
