^^^ hey, i know we are all pretty much dead if this happens. I was just saying if somehow you would survive. You then know your running against the clock.
Eventually canned food runs out and then you have to grow food. But to grow a years worth of food takes a large piece of land that has to be tilled and irrigated by hand with no zombie intervention, very hard.
Also to clear up why the soda thing is even on there... its because I was watching "The Road" and they had the kid drinking the pop and going "mmm delicious" even though by that time not only would the can be expired and taste horrible... it would of eaten through the can and would leave what ever sludge was left in the bottom if any.

i know you say don't take this seriously, but i have thought about what I would do in a zombie apocalypse, and this here is exactly what i've decided i would do.
a long time ago, during a PBS fundraiser, i saw a documentary that fascinated me like no other, about a man named dick proenneke, who completely left civilization to live alone in a beautiful region of alaska known as twin lakes. it was completely untouched by man, the only way to it was by seaplane. he built his own house, grew his own vegetables, hunted for meat. ever since then i've always thought that it would be such an interesting and fulfilling experience experience to do something like that.
in the event of a zombie infestation, i'd jump to do that because i would no longer have any social or financial obligations and i couldn't play starcraft anymore. i'd be safe as no zombies would be able to make it into the areas in alaska or northern canada where i'd end up going, and even if one did, the chances that it would ever stumble upon me is essentially 0. i'd be healthy from all the physical labor i would have to do every day, and i'd have food from gardens and hunting.

Although going on a massive killing spree would be a nice change of pace, the fact that I wouldn't be able to play SC2 anymore would be bad.
Oh, and the constant paranoia and the fact that all those girls that look good from behind but are actually dead would suck too...

although i appreciate the fun of walking around shooting everything that moved, the novelty would wear off quickly and it'd get real lonely, real fast.

Eventually you would just die lol. If it were a real scenario, you wouldn't find water and food just in time like they do in every movie. You might get lucky for a while, but I say you have a few months tops before most of the food is gone, and only a few can find/create more.
