Resetting means that they'll shoot each other if they run into each other in null sec, as opposed to just waving at each other.

woot for being a cooter and a test allie

Would a Gila work as a mission blitz boat if you have mainly drone skills? If it is something the drake can deal with, I'm sure Gila can do too. (and a set of heavy ECM drones for what it can't)

There generally is not an open campaign against said entity but its more of a "we are no longer going to have anything to do with you" thing. So basically TEST is no longer going to assist the NC in the current NC vs DRF war.
goons aswell probably, considering they used shadoo's titan for bridging last night. anyway, quite glad nc is finally dieing.

So I was teaching a new guy (maahes) about the directional scanner. He asked if the angle depended on your camera view or your ship align. I told him camera view.
Karah immediately went 'no wtf, that's not right.'
Karah, who was our main prober for several months, never knew the truth.

well you never learn out. makes no sense realisticwise though D:

Gila lacks the targeting range for effectively sniping stuff. With only one sentry rig, you can't do much. If you bring out the heavy ECM drones, your dps will drop a lot.
The Gila maybe able to blitz a few missions but for most of lvl 4s, you can't blitz in a Gila.

0.0 money making and politics do seem to have a certain allure. I wonder if we should go there for a week or two for the lulz.

I wrote this essay on behalf of Sergeant RL3 and Legio Vorenus (deal with them how you will). Anyway, it was fun, so here it is.
+ Show Spoiler +It has been said that Eve Online is a massive game, with many intricacies and paths to explore. It has also been said that there is no Single Player. Combine the two and you find what is necessary: a corporation. The only question that lies, then, is which one? Well, I am a member of the TeamLiquid forums, why not join The Hatchery? But what do I expect to gain from joining The Hatchery? One, I expect to gain PvP experience. Two, I expect to learn how to play Eve Online. Three, I expect to gain a corp with which to play the game.
One of the biggest reasons for joining The Hatchery is PvP experience. PvP, simply stated, is combat between two or more players. In Eve, it means all from large fleet battles in null sec to suicide ganking newbies (*cough* tHornton *cough*). The Hatchery’s PvP lies between the two, in low sec space. They gang up and, as they stated “aggressively PvP much larger groups of much older guys in much bigger shit”. If I join The Hatchery, I expect to be able to join these ops and learn how to PvP like the other members in the group, and hopefully become good at it. For instance, I might be able to participate in situations such as the one a few posts above me by Firebolt145. This is not only fun, but also will help me with PvP in any alts I might have, kickstarting my PvP ability. I will learn how to PvP with the best, and so gain valuable experience that will help me with the rest of my Eve career.
Another reason I want to join The Hatchery is that it will teach me how to play Eve Online. As was stated before, Eve Online is a massive game, with many different aspects to it. One can mine, PvP in low sec, pirate, own a corporation, engage in null sec politics, haul, scam, and many more things. It will be very hard to learn all of these by myself, and by joining The Hatchery, I hope to learn many things about Eve Online and how to play it. I may not learn about all aspects of Eve from The Hatchery, but I will learn much about it, maybe getting me addicted to the game.
A third reason I want to join The Hatchery is that it will give me a corporation with which to play the game. Now, The Hatchery members are a tight group. They know each other very well, and will support each other when they feel like it. They are much like the TeamLiquid forums itself: a group not shackled together, but together with a common interest (StarCraft, in this analogy). If I join the Hatchery, I want to join this group which I can play Eve with, but do not have the extreme obligations of one of the very large corporations. I can get off to watch the MSL if I want to, and the Hatchery will understand.
Now those are three reasons I want to join The Hatchery. I know I probably got trolled with this one, but oh well. Better safe than sorry.

HAHA yeah you got trolled, but props. Serg and legio are the same guy btw, and he isn't even in the hatchery.
One thing you will realise is that whenever the msl/whatever it on, we are ALL afk.
Contact me in game. I'm currently out and acknowledge but I should be on in about 3-4 hours.

Wait, he requested you to write this essay in order to join hatchery? Hes not even in the corp himself nor has anything to do with us anymore :D
i have to admit, the essay is nice though

Protip: Check the character info of people you talk to in SCBW who claim to be from the Hatch (every time they recommend you do something silly). Never hurts to do so (:
Nice essay though.

double protip: if a character is in Aquila, Inc., and you're a newbie, and they're talking to you, you're probably being trolled
