Today's 100-man faction warfare meetup happened in Eha. I'm still not quite sure who participated because everything was so chaotic. Stuff jumping in and out, docking and undocking, and there was even a titan bridge of random battleships.
Our heroes went to investigate. Started with 5 people so didn't feel like jumping into the midst of that. So in true elite pvp fashion we decided to camp the sun and cover our best maller pilot in eve so he could do the good work. Many pods were liberated.
We noticed the Gal FW linkboat Eos may be potentially afk boosting from station. It was bumped off. We applied damage. It began to slowboat back to station. Many DPS were overheated. Additional bumps were called. I bumped it perpendicular to station AND NOT TOWARDS IT. And it died about <8km from docking range.

We return to policing the sun and see the battlefield at Planet 5 empty out. It was decided we must engage the remaining ships on field so Chessur immediately warps in without consulting anyone and we follow. As he lands Exodus' inty gang makes a beeline for him. As we land we can see a bunch of battleships less than 100km away with sentry drones out, but more important work must be done, so with much heaviness in our hearts we engage Exodus. We do the usual run around with Serg landing excellent scrams and Omega grabbing the longpoint assists. Meanwhile Liam and God's Apples hitting targets of opportunity.
With Exodus being negated Chessur goes straight for the main opponents on field. Among other things there was a Loki that chased after Serg. That died.

We continued to chase around any opponent that dared to leave the safety of the battleship blob with Serg getting more hero scrams but with Exodus all but gone the enemy dps focused on our dps. Multiple Maulus were damping us as well. In true bravery securing us kill after kill right in the face of the enemy (especially getting those pesky Maulus) Serg eventually got caught and instantly he was neuted, webbed, target painted, etc. etc.
Chessur who was soaking up a lot of damage the entire time continued to apply damage, but a lucky shot from the sentries and an Armageddon Navy put him from low shields directly into explosion.
Surprisingly the battleships bailed from the field and we were left to peacefully loot our fallen comrades. Local empties out and we head home.

So, at this juncture I've pretty well determined i'll probably never really play more eve. Problem is I still have Rakwa. I dislike removing my ability to reclaim assets (in this case a very good character) in case I do decide to play more, but it seems like a waste for him to be trapped on what may soon become an unsubscribed account.
What do?

Transfer it to someone else within the Hatchery and they can transfer it back should you ever decide to return.

hi! I recently picked up the eve humble bundle, I've been doing the tutorial missions this past 2 days and so far I'm really into it. Are you guys recruiting newbies? I'd love to get into pvp eventually, I've been reading some of you guys' battle reports in this thread and even though I don't understand everything it sounds really fun.

Well they let me in, and I'm new bad and have another account in bni, so I'd guess they'd let you join up. Try talking us up in hatchery pub ( I think thats the right channel)

Because of our location, if you're joining us with your one account it will be quite difficult for you to do anything else (PvE or whatever else you might be interested in) in the meantime. If you're happy to do that and you're wanting to throw yourself into PvP, then sure you can join us right away and we'll be happy to provide ships for you to use. If you want to continue experiencing other activities for now, then your options are either wait a while before joining us or to create a second account, allowing you to use one account to play with us while using the other to experience everything else.

Anyway, despite being active for only half of the last month, I somehow managed to rack up 33b in kills, only 3b shy of my overall monthly record of 36b. I'd like to thank NC. for bringing me so close.
