3 jumps out. One of the EUni Vexor Navy warps to a planet at zero and sat there not moving. Serg goes for it. 2 jumps out. A Stabber lands as the first one dies. Serg goes for the Stabber. 1 jumps out. A second Vexor Navy lands as the Stabber dies. Serg goes for that. Arrive in system, a third Vexor Navy lands as the second one is about to die. We land on grid, the Stabber dies and Serg goes for the Vexor Navy. Need help or you wanna solo this? https://zkillboard.com/kill/39182874/ https://zkillboard.com/kill/39182886/ https://zkillboard.com/kill/39182930/ https://zkillboard.com/kill/39182962/ Yep, he soloed it. Good job fleet.

1. Failed to catch up and get tackle on a few cruisers as we were chasing them through gates. Mistakes: - as i jump through a gate I notice which gate they warp to. I called it out on comms, but did not instinctively warp to where they were going. Kwark had to tell me to do this, which cost about 2-3 seconds lead time, resulting in me locking but not scramming a Vexor in time. 2. We were on 0 at a gate when a Legion warps to gate. I instinctively jump through the gate to catch him on the other side, however the Legion did not jump through, causing me to be out of the fight until i burned back to gate to get on the other side again. - that should not be my instinct. My instinct should be to spam lock on the ship as they land on gate while watching local. Only if local goes -1 should I jump the gate. 3. After repping in a system where shit was going down, I stayed outside of the station-2 waiting for orders. Station 2 was 30 AU from where the action was in station-1. Kwark got caught by long range webs in his zealot and called for me to warp and get him out. He lost his ship right as I landed - should've been way the fuck closer than 30 AU. Should've said something on comms if I'm unsure where I'm suppose to be. 4. Cluttered comms with a useless fucking question during a fight. - don't clutter comms. 5. My first Merlin was shitfit with a longpoint and scram. - don't shitfit my Merlin. 6. During a fight I misunderstood kwark calling a point on a phoon at 0 on station, so I went over to scram it. - point doesn't = scram. Plus, scramming that phoon in that situation didn't make sense. The 70 man FW corp I'm in right now considers me a good pvper, getting 1st on kills in April and 2nd in May. This is a corp that has several carrier pilots and 100m+ skillpoint toons. Didn't realize how true it is when you guys say 99% of eve is bad bad bad. I'm so fucking happy tho, to actually fly with people who deeply care about being good. I've probably learned more in these last 2 days than my last month in my FW corp.

On October 09 2010 22:19 Ramiel wrote: Hey guys i have a quick battle report here for you. So yesterday me and some of my corp mates were flying around in metropolis looking for some war targets. We are currently war decked with a corp and have been fighting them for the last 2 months. Today i had decided to take out my purifer (stealth bomber) and see what i could do with it. While i am not at the level of toon skill that i would like to be, i decided to just take it out anyway, and act as a scout / heavy DPS unit. The night started rather boring. Me and the rest of our fleet, which consisted of 3 tempest, 1 sb, 1 harbringer, 1 scorp, vexor and another t1 cruiser that i cannot remember right now- went up and down the pipe looking for something good. Well luck was on our side when i had decided to venture ahead, and look into system that they were known to visit. One i jumped in, and looked at local- i noticed that there were 3 wt in system. I notified the FC and warped to the sun, to begin my DS work. 5 or so min later i had narrowed them down to one of the stations orbiting close to a moon. Upon further inspection i noticed that one fo the them was sitting at 0 form the station, while the other was inside. The wt was in a drake, and because i was sitting only 30k away from her cloaked, could keep eyes on the target and keep my fc constantly updated. We decided to set up some bait, so the vexor pilot warped close to the station, and tried to get the drake to agress. Thankfully she decided to engage, and started to burn away from the station. Once she had began to attack the vexor, the work was givin for half of our fleet to jump into our system, and warp to me. Sadly- by the time they had gotten there, the vexor was finished. At this point i de cloaked, and decided to rain down some fury. With all of my torps activated, i started to slam the drake for 1.3k damage a volley. Sadly, none of the battle ships made it to me in time, and only a faster bc got their in time to through some pot shots in. The drake decided to disengage, and went straight back to the station to wait out her 60 second timer. I couldn't kill her in time. With her shields just at 25-20% she slipped inside. If only i could use my bombs ![]() However this was not to be the end of the night! She had decided to get a bit cocky and once all of us had dispersed from the station (except for me) she ventured out, and stayed at 0 on the gate. She had a nice pretty t2 fitted maelstrom fitted, and was in local looking for a fight. I decided to humor her, and ask for a 1v1 and tried to keep her talking, and hopefully move her away from the station in time. However she never moved more than 5 k away, and we sat there for about 30min, me just looking at her, and she clueless as to where i was. Luckily the FC had a nice idea, and sent of out cruiser pilots to the the station, and told him to dock immediately. Because the maelstrom pilot was un-aware of the fleet we had 1 jump out, she was getting fairly cocky, and started to turn back twards the station, the second the cruiser came up on overview. She docked inside with him, and came out shortly after with a hurricane. I kept chatting to her in local, trying to be cocky and get her to rush out, or move farther away from the gate. thats when my fc had a great idea. He had the cruiser piolot but a t1 tackle frig in station and get ready to web and point that hurricane down. Hopefully with me and him acting as bait, the rest of our fleet would have time to melt her before the 60 second timer was up. So with everything givin the green light- i began to move cloaked towards her. I positioned myself about 3k away from the station, and i was only 3 k away from her. I was to be the warping point for my fleet- so they could get between her and the station. I was shitting buckets with things so close to me, and when she let out a flight of light drones, and were circling so close, i almost soiled my pants. The green light was given finally, and the little tack frig busted out of the station, and began to orbit, and get a point and web on. She responded immediately and sicked all of her drones on him. At this point, i decloacked and started to fire my torps. the rest of our fleet was in bound, and she only had time to take one shot at me before a tempest showed up, and really brought the heat. I was hitting for a respectable 1.4-1.8k per salvo, and it looked like we might just get her this time. The the crazy happened. The other wt that was still inside the gate came out with a mega. But here is where it gets epic, they still didn't know abut the other half of our fleet! As soon as we saw the mega everything warped on top of us- and we roared to life! Sadly the hurricane got back in station, but the mega- well the mega decided to neutral rep the hurricane, and it immediately became a war target. What happened next was art :0 We primaried the mega, and brought it down. Inches from the station! here is the battle report. Sadly i had to reload my torps half way through the battle, but i still had some respectable dps for a frig. http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=11421734 Sooo cuute

Maybe its time I take another shot at actually learning how to play this game instead of just reading about it constantly. Its become a annual event for me. once a year for the last 3-4 years I pick up eve, but I always put it back down after a while out of frustration. imma try to stick with it this time and see if I can figure out how to play this fucking game.

I also have a number of 1+bil noctis down in my history as a worm hole dweller.
