I think I found tracer most fun, but I had the most success playing Hanzo and Zenyatta. Reaper felt a little weak to me, his teleport didn't really seem that strong a movement skill and left you too vulnerable to use in battle. The invincibility spell didn't feel too satisfying either. He was the first hero I played though, so maybe I was just too new to it. Didn't get a chance to play with 5 out of the 12. Excited to play a lot more tomorrow.

PS: To anyone who played it, how does the "You can change to another hero every time you die." thing work? As someone who's used to dota I think I'd rather teams to have identity/composition instead of every match being all heroes.

There was a text popup when you died that said you can press F to change your hero. At which point, you could do that and not be punished at all. Was quite nice for the setting at least, got to try out a lot of different heroes in the same game as well as experiment to defeat particularly hard teams (had trouble with a particular Torbjorn... those turrets are very strong) Who really knows how the game ends up working with that in the end though, could just be for the Blizzcon build. Or maybe there will be a unranked/ranked matchmaking system where you can/cannot change classes respectively. Think they are still figuring that kind of stuff out, but I wouldn't be surprised (they said they are making just such a distinction with Archon mode's unranked/ranked matchmaking in LotV when it comes to how many players).

It's been mentioned that Overwatch has a form of auto-aim. I did talk about this subject in the past: Example 1: Adding auto-aim to CS:GO (removing complexity) Aiming is a huge part of CS:GO, it's one of the most important skills in the game. Does adding auto-aim dumb down the game, reduce skill or kill depth? No. The game will still require just as much skill as it does now. Instead of being about aiming, auto-aim would shift the game to be about positioning, strategy, flashing and firing with maximum lethality (minimizing recoil). The team with more skill in avoiding situations where they will be killed by the opponent's auto-aim by being at the right place at the right time would win. The skill of correct positioning would be absolutely critical. So playing CS:GO with auto-aim would require the same amount of skill it requires now, it just emphasizes different types of skills, like positioning. Source: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/closed-threads/465001-near-impossible-reduce-skill-in-competitive-games No doubt, we will have losers (as in people who literally lose in a game of Overwatch) that get annihilated and utterly dominated by their auto-aiming opponents while hypocritically saying that the game is too easy.

Except Overwatch seems to be based more on heroes/abilities than actually aiming. Your past discussion on the subject doesn't really relate all that much.

Oh and must say, I actually loved the cinematic trailer. It felt fun and exciting. Hope the game holds up.
