Saying that subs lost now are subs gone forever is pretty much a lie and a tiny bit of truth. Numbers always drop at the end of an expansion and what happens when a new expansion launches? They get those subs back and more. Its nothing new. WoW won't get the same numbers it did when it was in its peak but they will always get a huge majority of subs back for new expansions.
Saying WoD lacks content is kind of silly to be honest. Look at MoP. People were saying before MoP was even out that it looked like it would lack content and look what happened. MoP had plenty content and majority of it was great. The daily grind at the beginning was bullshit but Blizzard wont do that again after the bit of backlash they got because of it. From what I've seen WoD looks to have the same amount of content then MoP. Even if it doesn't have the same amount then the quality of the content will be Blizzard quality.
Also saying that WoD lacks features is weird. The NEW features WoD brings are Garrisons and new character models and from the looks of it a new refreshing questing experience and some other things I can't remember, halp. Every expansion basically brings in a few new features. Everything else is what has already been established from past expansions.

I am really not enticed by any of the new talents supposedly available. They all look pretty bland to me...

I'm hoping in the back of my mind that Draenor is just the first patch or two, and the next couple will be the Ogre continent (though it's likely that's another expansion).

We’ve recently implemented an often requested feature to enable cross-realm raiding for Siege of Orgrimmar. Cross-realm BattleTag™ and Real ID friends can now raid together and take the fight to Garrosh on Normal or Heroic difficulty. Players will be able to earn greater rewards such as Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf or the title of Conqueror/Liberator of Orgrimmar; both of which aren’t available to be earned within Flexible or Raid Finder difficulty.
This change is currently live.
Same applies to any Horde EU member now though. If your looking to raid normal, just PM me or Teoita and we'll happily assist you into getting into our raids. We will just have to tell you our raid times and add each others battle tags and you'll be able to join.

We run flexes on weekends, and while we usually grab pugs and alts, we're not super casual

Yeah i know about the not casual part, i miss actually trying to progress and get server firsts and what not. It's just that when i raid with RL friends it just...you know...can't happen (get out of the fire, why are you doing 70% of the dps you should be doing, get adds, etc.).

That just signals to me that they are generally happy with the way the classes are currently playing and don't want tot do anything earth-shattering with the level 100 talents. Not really a big deal

They've also said that the majority of them were just placeholders and will be getting changed up so there is still room for them to change it all up.

This might not be the best place to ask but with the discussion of subs returning I have a question. Is it possible to still play the instances from the old expansions? Like TBC and forward. I mean will I be able to find people to play with through the dungeon finder or are people just not playing all those old ones?

Yes, you can. As long as you are near the level of said dungeons then you can queue for them and do them. The queue times may vary depending on what spec you are as in whether your a tank, healer, or dps. Dps tends to get longer queue times. Tanks and healers are not much of a wait time. It also depends on what battlegroup you are in.

Also depends what you mean by "play". If you want to do them as originally intended then no - you can't. If you just want to see them and rush through in 1-2 pulls with full heirloom people that one shot everything then yes you can.

Between tough work schedule, Titanfall and Reaper of Souls I decided to froze my sub for a while, might come back like one or two months later.

I was thinking mainly playing them through to experience the content and get a feel for the game-world. So I need to be near the dungeons level with my character level to play it using dungeon finder i.e. I can't go to say Deadmines with a 90 char unless I go to the dungeon physically and enter there?

Yea, if you just want to go run through all the dungeons at 90 you have to physically enter the dungeons.

Theres a glyph for Heroic Strike that will make it so it strikes multiple targets.
Theres still Shockwave and Thunderclap and the warrior perks from 91-99 is basically aside from 1 of them, adds % damage to your abilities. Also Revenge still striking 2 additional targets.
