Oh wow haha didn't read into Glyphs. Well ok then, then again i don't use heroic strike much due to its rage wonder how that will play. Oh wait it should proc free ones like cleave anyway, true. Should be fun then. Don't get why they removed berserker stance though "/
I don't main my warrior anymore so i was more indepth reading about mages and i was pretty happy in a way to see the changes they are making, also looks like Fire is going to be much better too. Just again i reiterate the changes make it so it is going to be a brand new game which is what the idea of an expansion should be. You add and you remove shit, not just add add add add.

LOL I beleive it will be important for warrior tanks to probably have some of that multi strike rating as well then? To help with aoe tanking as well?

Well, in my opinion I don't think cleave is all that important because I rarely use it as it is since Revenge strikes two additional targets and its up quite often and doesn't cost Rage. I can keep aggro on mob packs just fine without using cleave because Shockwave and Thunderclap,Revenge is all thats needed really. Also, tabbing through the different mobs in the packs to make sure you keep getting your Revenge to hit other targets instead of the same ones.
Unless they are doing something to Revenge and the other abilities I don't think there will be anything different in my tanking rotation.

Smart heals will now randomly pick any injured target within range instead of always picking the most injured target.
we're removing the low-throughput, low-mana-cost heals like Nourish, Holy Light, Heal, and Healing Wave, because we think that while they do add complexity, they don’t truly add depth to healing gameplay.
All of these changes apply to damage-absorption shields as well. Additionally, we're toning down the power of damage absorption in general. RIP Disc priests
Also getting rid of hit and expertise... seems a little odd to me. It's going to trivialize fighting mobs that are 3 levels up on you.
Removed all Disarms. Why

i'm so glad they remove hit, i had up to 4% too much hit on my pally, even after reforging, because on every fucking piece of gear i found was a shitton of hit. it's just annoying, when the gear is overall better
and i think there isn't any depth to expertise/hit for most classes anyway

It's re energize PvP i think. There is no instant cast CC anymore and interrupting a cast now only silences THAT cast you interrupted. They will for example be free to spam flash heal, take a GCD from the interrupt then spam it again xD

Pretty sure I read somewhere that your chance to hit and whatnot is always going to be 100%

Priests are dead anyways since they are losing SWD at the moment, and their instant casts are going to be now actual casts (like hard casting PoM, really Blizzard). I still want mana burn back and for Blizz to realize that priests are the worst class ever (Like you take wrath/bc priests and you start to do a de-evolution of it to where we are now, like take modern day humans and go back a couple million years to monkeys, that's priests now).
Disarms are solely for pvp as not being able to play the game for 50% of the time (or as a healer myself, being in cc for 50% of the game is not fun). Example, we played against a BalMP comp where I sat in CC for like 6 minutes (it was fucking unreal as an rsham).

The druid changes are pretty interesting, though Wild Growth gets hit with cast time AND the smart healing nerfs, which is kind of dumb. It'll be interesting to know if Equinox + Incarnation or Sunfall will be better for Boomkins...they really, really need love as they're the most boring DPS class and the numbers show it.
The fire talent seems like the only one possible for DPS warriors, the rest seem terrible. Removing Skull Banner seems kinda necessary given how broken that thing was, but CD stacking is STILL gonna be a thing. The tanking changes are fine.
Priests are now useless.
The DK changes will take some playing with to get used to...interesting whether or not keeping up BP is worth it for frost anymore apart from Outbreak every minute.
Removal of Hit/Expertise is long, LONG overdue. It's a bunch of stats you HAVE to have that don't make you more powerful and instead negate a weakness, that feels like shit to waste so much just to get to parity.

I've been a tauren since vanilla beta and there are no words to describe how happy I am.
Us taurens are going to be even SEXIER!
:D :D

More pumped for this xpac then I've been since probably Lich King. Patch notes seem interesting, just gotta pick a main class...

I just looked up the release date for this and was very surprised to learn it is only december 2014. I played some WoW the beginning of this year, and already thought then that MoP is pretty much done with. I thought next addon would be in May or something. What are you guys doing in the meantime over this year? Or is there content coming out after the garosh raid?

Note the release date is "some time before december" which isnt the same thing ^^ Most people are thinking September.
And yes SoO will last way to long and WoW is going to lose another few million subs because of it.

Yeah it standard Blizzard. It will be released before 20th December 2014 is what they are saying. They never give you any hope xD However this is like the first time they have said a major cut off date for an expansion? Like no matter what 20th December we will be playing WoD, but surely it will be October (ish) i hope ;_;

Except history shows that's not true. Sure a lot of them will come back but numbers show that every time this happens a significant portion do stay away for good.

This expansion may be different, but it's hard to say really. I kind of have a feeling that a lot of people that haven't really played since Vanilla/TBC may come back, at least that's the feeling I've been getting from some of my friends that haven't played since then.

Still doesn't really matter. They still make good money with 6-8 million subs. Along with expansion sales. Sure, some people get bored and take a break but they still come back to check out the new content but some people simply move on because it is time for them to.
WoW hit its peak awhile ago and will never have 13-14 million subs again and the remaining subs are basically their constant average number.
