But if you cancelled one of the quests during that chain, you might have completely forgotten about it and the npc who has the followup quest is standing somewhere at the end of draenor. But there are many chains, so it can take months or more to get one or not because of RNG it's like harrison jones you had to do ~6 daily quests, but i took an average time of 2 weeks to do them with periods of up to several months where all of the quests didn't spawn - and that's DAILY quests, not weekly. Nope, Garrison campaign will give you a chain you have not yet done every week until you have done them all (assuming you don't abandon a chain in the middle of it).

so how long does it take to do all of them?
I don't have that much of a problem with length, it's 3 things that annoy me:
1; having nothing else to do, getting 30 mins content and then being told to come back next week
2; random order, prevents doing with friends and they might see different content weeks or even months before you
3; time-gated story content which is supposed to be explored BEFORE doing other things (like socrether and ariok stuff as i mentioned before)

The Tanaan ones run parallel with them, not only when you've done the regular garrison campaign

They only had a week long CD when it was new. As far as I'm aware you can complete one section a day of the 6.0 garrison campaign while also simultaneously doing Tanaan's set of garrison campaigns weekly.
Each individual one takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending on your skill, gear level, and which one you're doing. The Tanaan ones took me about 10 minutes each.

I can verify, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
Also, if you fell behind you could get multiples in one week, but only if you were actually doing them.

Source is me actually doing a garrison campaign quest each day for about 4 days early on in the storyline when i missed a couple weeks.
I may have picked them all up when they showed up though, I don't remember that clearly since it was like December when I did them

Emphasis on could.
So in what situation? My 5 month and 1 month 100 chars seem to get 1 per week max

I was lazy and started the garrison campaigns late. I did one, waited a couple of weeks, did another, and got two in one week.
Your mileage may vary.

Blizzard Q&A from Gamescom starts in little over 10 minutes.

Professions will get a quest line and some re-work. Thats the only new info from this Q&A so far... Also no flying at start in Legion, which i'm happy about..
Yeah, more or less a waste of time.

Also no flying at start in Legion.
Was it confirmed that the legion pathfinder achievement wouldn't be doable in the launch patch?
I'm very wary of "later" statements from blizzard - they still have not fixed some of the launch WOD mounts and already talking about the next expansion. Also they completely backpedaled on the "flying later in WOD" statement after everyone already bought the expansion, so they could easily do it again this time
There's no point flying if you've already done literally everything in the expansion a month before you unlock it. There was not much before Tanaan and now that we've got the reps, apexis crystals are not actually worth anything and they don't give gold so there's no reason to do them any more
Starting in Patch 7.0 the first steps towards the flying achievement will be available.
Ah, so no.
There won't be another filler patch between Warlords and the Legion invasion
Ruby Sanctum didn't work out well
Ah. Here's hoping for a February launch then?
Draenor's forces are busy rebuilding Draenor, so they are not going to come and help with the Burning Legion
If you ever need us.. we will be HERE - Yrel at the dark gate after archimonde death
i guess the "here" part was literal.
One of the social features under development is notifying you when friends join a queue and allowing you to queue with them.
Cool~ I'd rather have friends that actually asked me to join content though. There are so many soloQ heroes out there and so few who ask around to start a group for something.

To be fair no flying didn't even matter in WoD because we had a portal to every zone and Feather. Not to mention 4 hearthstones on a 10 minute cool down.
That is also without the Ogreway points as well lol

Nothing about pathfinder achievements that i've seen (if i understood the question right). Was it doable in WoD in the launch patch? If so, probably will be in Legion?
Quote from the Gamescom recap event:
Eventually you will be able to fly in Legion, but not right away, similar to Warlords. Starting in Patch 7.0 the first steps towards the flying achievement will be available.
e. Seems like you found your answer and I didn't understand your question. :-)

That's the sad part. They kept all of the annoyances of ground-only travel with none of the benefits. Nothing was added to take advantage of it and they made 50000 flight paths, 10 minute cooldown feather, the garrison right next to the main town and the daily zone, portals from the garrison and the daily zone to the main town, main town to the daily zone and then more stuff to make travel faster.
Just go back to 2 flight paths per zone, no portals and let us fly - then you actually have a sense of distance. It was never about how annoying it was to cross halfway across the world, but about getting from A to B when they're 100 yards apart. WoW has very little Y axis movement, no sprinting/dashing/jumping and it just feels awkward as fuck without flying - i didn't miss it at all in Wildstar, but returning to WoW and being stuck within 2 inches of the ground is still painful after a year.

With no content being added from now, like no more quests or raid bosses, i hope they launch within 4-6 months and not in 10.
Even with a 6 month wait now (8 months after hfc) the amount of content in WOD would be feel comparitively way too little considering the 14 month drought before it and 8 month gap to next expansion
