On the stream they seemed to promote this Q&A as when we'd get finer details or something more, but it was really more of a dumb recap that was constantly interupted with costume and dance contest banter. It's not even PR, it came from Tom Chilton's mouth: "We're going to answer as many as we can on the livestream on Sunday." But I do agree, everyone should stfu and let Watcher do the talking. Edit: but honestly, it's not a big deal for me, the Gamespot and Icy veins or whatever interviews, I'm content with the information we got in the last few days so I'm personally not upset we're not getting answers, but that stream was just so... out there with the dang contest plugs. | ||

Gul'dan is the instigator in Legion, but not the big bad guy. He is a raid boss in the raids at launch, but not the final boss of the expansion. -MMOChampSo there's that. Doubt it is Illidan, because the redemption story speculation sounds likely and Queen Azshara wouldn't be worthy of a last boss of an expansion. Dunno, i'd still go with Kil'Jaeden or even Avatar of Sargeras. | ||

Blizzard wants Illidan to be a good guy (or at least make the redemption story) and without turning his back to Gul'dan / legion after the resurrection, that won't happen. Gul'dan resurrects Illidan -> Illidan helps with whatever -> something happens that makes him turn around -> he helps us to redeem himself by switching sides (by helping us defeat Gul'Dan as the last boss of the 2nd raid) -> 3rd raid against Legion (Kil'Jaeden?) who is behind Illidans torment since the beginning. | ||

the general mindset of reacting to stuff after it happens that seems to be the case for the vast majority of raiders doesn't work very well. You should be waiting for mechanics (and eye to be thrown to you) before it happens | ||

Another interesting thing is that was mentions was that he was talking about how to keep 5 man dungeon relevant. He basically said WoD progression was a failure and they are looking at how to fix 5 man dungeon and making them relevant. He reference how MoP was a more successful option and they might do something similar to valor points again. That's not to say the Personal Loot/Seals are perfect, but I'd rather see Blizzard attempt to improve on this new paradigm than return to the ultra-boring badge/points snoozefest from WotLK/Cataclysm. | ||
