I learned what was happening in the fight and got my shit together after about 5 wipes. After that it was just the tank dying to boss meleeing him and healer being unable to deal with it, nothing I could do personally.

I honestly think hunters are fucking retarded strong in (unorganised) BGs because you stand still and turret for days, but in arenas we pale in comparison to the aforementioned ferals, rets, dks (and disc is really strong too). You know what's retarded tho ? a Ret, dk or ferals with a Hunter + healer :d Hunter literally fit as assist class for every melee in 3s atm and every combinaison is insanely good. I play both ret hunter disc and ATC ( war prot ( glad ) hunter pal ) and it's just stupid how good those comps are. Although, shadowcleave and shadowplay are still quite the bitch to deal with. Warlock are always the bane of Hunter success in arena. Not many right now because of double melee healer tho, but I don't think they"re bad.

Yeah, works for these. But explaining Ko'ragh and Mar'gok every time you replace a raider seems like way too much hassle.

The second boss however... People run CM's without being 630 in every slot? :D On December 08 2014 07:27 Valenius wrote: Reasonably good raid tonight.. 5/7 down on HC. Hardest part of instance was some people unable to dodge fire on Twin's.. needed to grow up playing frogger! What do you think of the last boss on normal? We got 6/7 normal then 2/7 HC, went back to normal and wiped for 3 hours so far, it seems to blow away the first 2 fights for difficulty/complexity of mechanics (but doesn't require as much raw damage/healing as butcher hc) On December 08 2014 04:18 Firebolt145 wrote: Okay I'm doing my second CM dungeon. First one was Auchindoun which was obviously more difficult than heroics but was still manageable, nothing too insane. Now I'm doing Skyreach and we've wiped about 15 times on the first boss before one of the PuGs left. I'm actually pleasantly surprised to experience this level of difficulty once again. :D That boss is easy compared to some others in CM's, i've had three skyreach groups that killed it in 1-3 pulls and then wiped a dozen+ times on the next boss. I didn't actually get past that next boss until we did it with a tank, two healers and a pair of DPS averaging ~15.5k each by end (with damage assistance from tank and the second healer)

Right now im trying to find a group for H-Tectus for 5/7 but groups are never listed. I think most do koragh first.

It's clear he's a big step up compared to the previous ones. In comparison we had 2 wipes on Butcher HC, 3 on Brackenspore HC, and 2 on Tectus HC. I'm not sure on our tactics though, we were exploding the arcane trap things to allow for easier positioning.. but that obviously causes a lot of damage. We'll probably go straight for it on heroic, seeing as the tactics are the same.

You take way too much damage just walking into every trap, we did that for a period of time but you have to alternate people with defensive cooldowns like anti magic shell that should be used for unavoidable damage instead

Add in that we were 1 healer short, it was panic time for us! :D
