Rough night. On Friday our guild downed Kar'gath first go and then The Butcher on attempt #7. Tonight we had about ~7 wipes on tectus before trying our luck on Brackenspore. Wiped a few times and then decided to call it a night. Seems that Tectus in particular has somewhat of a dps requirement seeing as we hit the hard enrage killing the last four motes.

Gotta say though, even with all the wipes I had great fun. As a melee the tectus fight takes a tonne of movement and you definitely won't do well if you tend to tunnel vision.

not entirely unexpected since people were keeping 2 lower level followers around to be able to spam missions.

The other side is ofc tho that level 100 and above missions are just to rare. getting 2/3 630 missions a week makes you wonder what you gear up your followers for. heck i havnt gotten a 645 yet this week.

Yeah i'm expecting them to increase the rate at which you get lvl 100 missions that give either gold or xp. The gearing ones will probably stay the same though.
ModeratorProtoss all-ins are like a wok. You can throw whatever you want in there and it will turn out alright.

I keep getting like 4-5 lvl 100 missions that give me 615 gear. They're all 8-12 hours so I don't want to bother running them since I don't need the gear. I'd rather they just give me the 4 hour XP/Gold ones for a shot at salvage.

The gear ones are ok, you can just de it. If you don't have the building just use someone else's garrison when you help them with their invasions.

Also my dudes have failed every 630 mission i got so far (for 645 gear), all with 60%+ chance

The moment i got 3 followers around 630-645 i got a mission for a 655 shortly followed up by 645 boots mission, i won the 655 (took it earlier than i needed to at only 2/3'rds chance) and i have >80% chance for the 645, can maybe get higher

You want to use your enhancement tokens on the ones you have already upgraded. This means that you ideally want to give followers you want a straight up 615/630/645 armor/weapon token. Once you have done that and you are in need of a higher follower you use your enhancement tokens. Note that this is ideally.

As for actually getting them , War Mill Dwarven bunker(FUCKING SUCKS BTW but still gets some) +Lots of random missions for salvage. Make sure to balance it so you can get level 3 rax fast.

I got a Salvage Yard very early and kept running missions constantly. Basically every mission I could possibly complete was running at any given time, 8+ hour missions run overnight. Got tons of good weapons from salvage, though it was inconsistent. War Mill work orders help a bit too.

Yep the Salvage Yard is pretty ridicolous. I'm keeping the followers on my alts pretty inactive since i have jc/incription+enchanting buildings for them, as soon as they hit 100 i'll make one and run ALL the missions

edit: wtf on my alt i got a mission with halaa pvp tokens as a reward. Do they really expect me to buy a talbuk mount one year from now? O.O

Did they hotfix missions? Low level missions appear to give a small bag of salvage rather then a large one now.

It's neither nerf nor bug, but rather intended to be a rebalancing that shifts some of the incentives away from spamming low-level missions (even after you have high-level followers), in favor of making high-level missions more rewarding.

We made two changes:
Level 90-94 missions will only award a Bag of Salvaged Goods (level 1 reward) regardless of the level of your Salvage Yard.
Successful Level 100 missions will now always reward a salvage crate appropriate for your current Salvage Yard.

Level 95-99 missions are unchanged. On balance, players who are trying to increase the item level of their followers should be receiving a similar number of follower upgrades as before, but hopefully with a bit less emphasis on logging in every hour or two to cycle through quick low-level missions.

if they think 1 level 100 mission every 6 hours (probably generous) compared to 3 90-94 every 1.5 hours comes out as equal I have a bridge to sell them.

Queue times was never over like 15 minutes, at least later into our thursday raid. There was no queue wednesday (twisting nether) unless you logged in around 5pm-11pm (in that case just log in an hour before raid) - that's on twisting nether

They don't think it's equal, 90-94 missions along with salvage yard were op. I'm ok with the nerf, it just means you need to use more resources at your war mill tbh.
