I'm looking forward to the patch prior to WoD release so I can see how it affects everything. Also, I believe there are special drops you can get in SOO from Garrosh after the patch? | ||

Garrosh has a chance to drop an heirloom weapon that will scale as you level to 100. after 6.0 the chance for your first heirloom (there are a bunch, the first drop will always be spec appropriate) will be increased to 100%. So if you dont have one yet you want to do a run for it. if you already have 1 or more you will still have an increased chance of getting the rest but its not guaranteed. | ||

I'm also interested in seeing how the number crunch and other changes affect all the old content... I haven't been in beta/ptr so I have no idea what to expect. | ||

At level 90 i do not know but at level 100 inside old raids you have a hidden buff that increases damage by a ton. A premade level 100 warrior deals ~1.7k dmg on auto attacks with a 1h. That same warrior deals 170k (no thats not a typo) auto hits against trash in Blackwings Decent.They did this to ensure all old content can still be solo'd. | ||

As I understood it the bigger the level-diff is the more damage you do. Either way, if it is that way or isn't you can for sure solo old content with ease at 100. | ||

I haven't played for almost a year now and before that....a long time at least 2 years. But all I did after hitting 90 was run old content, so I'm glad they didn't screw that up. Also it is crazy good money to do it at least once a week and run some old raids. | ||

You can still sell the gear you don't want to keep(i.e most of it) for a pretty decent profit. i was clearing 4-500g on molten core @ 85 after the boss gold nerfs just by selling all the trash items i got | ||

With the release of Patch 6.0, the drop rate of the Heirloom weapons from Garrosh Hellscream on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties will be significantly increased. Players who have yet to get any Heirlooms will have a 100% (guaranteed) chance of getting a spec-appropriate Heirloom when defeating Garrosh on Normal difficulty or higher.
